Greetings Commanders,
Some issues have been detected in our final round of checks before the launch of Update 11. Therefore we're taking extra time to apply fixes and moving the release to next week. Apologies for the further delay, but we trust what's coming will have you on the edge of your seat.

I so much wish this statement would have happened at the launch of Odyssey.
Mind you, i do appreciate delays in favour of quality. As do big parts of the community, i dare to remind that ED already once during its development history had basically a complete year of "not much new, but really fixing a number of exisiting problems". And that was done on community request.
It would have been so awesome if somebody at FD would have learned a lesson from that. A lot of people here prefer to wait a bit longer if that means we get quality.
A small part of me still hopes that something at FD changed this time, and that whatever comes in the future will be released after being done, not tossed out of the doorway, no matter what. But realistically: I bet that some manager already now again has some "milestone X has to be delivered to the community on day Y" in his goal sheet, along with a bonus payment attached. So that manager will make sure that the software is "delivered", no matter in what shape it is, and how much the games community will suffer for it again.
Please FD: prove me wrong!
