Good stuff:
- I like the views in the bar and ready room and command deck.
- I like the terminals that let me interact with carrier services.
- I'll appreciate the supplies when on a longer exploration trip. (I like my supplies fully stocked)
- I like sitting down and just having a nice view while I look something up or develop some routes or wait for others to arrive.
- The big countdown timers are a nice touch.
Bad stuff:
- Useless displays everywhere even in my lap. Why not have the information from various service menus in there? Tritium levels, stock levels, jump distance, the next system we're going to, trade volume/profit, materials available at the bar? So much opportunity to make the interior a nice place to walk around and gather information rather than screens of gibberish.
- Bar Tender: Man, I don't know what was envisioned here but that is tedious to the extreme. I have to setup the market to buy my own stuff then setup the market to sell my stuff I just bought. No trading so it's not much use to visit my own carrier's bar to get bartender services. There needs to be a way to transfer the mats into the bar for the owner.
Otherwise offer the same trading as stations where buying and trading works like stations and inventory is not stored unless I override it with a market request. Selling to CMDRs is unique and only deals in market set inventory. Seems worlds better than what we have here. The maximum stock needs to at least double. Tripple or more seems more appropriate to allow us to offer a nice selection of items. Pricing also needs a rework - 10000% of gal-avg needs to be allowed.
- Sitting: Don't get me wrong here. Being allowed to sit in the seats in stations and carriers is a nice touch. I like it a lot and hope more interactivity comes online. However the fact I can't use any menus at all while seated nor interact with anyone at all... bar-tender or NPC makes it kind of a one-n-done feature unless my object is to be AFK. I can only sit and look. Put some mission givers at tables and let us sit down to talk to them. Let me summon the bartender over to me at my seat. Obviously they were not meant to move originally but a path with some stops at the chairs would make for a nice experience.
