Update 11 Oculus Issue

I often have issues in and around release day and update 11 is no exception. My Steam instal has no such issues and I find myself switching to it on occasions like this. Anyone else seeing this issue or is it just me?

I used to have this "All The Time"

So I downloaded the normal Frontier version of ED, and it starts VR automatically, just the same as the Oculus version, but does a Proper update.

I now have two shortcuts for however I want to run it.

hmmm are you sure it is elite related. for 4 months (i kid you not) some games have been broken on oculus..... games wont install and already installed games wont update. most have now been fixed but there are still a handful which are broken and may never work again. oculus support has been shocking. their community bods on the forums are ok and try their best and then some random tech inevitably wades in and says uninstall everything, format and try again - despite oculus admitting this wont help.... or worse still saying the generic "reset your quest to factory default" Its a PCVR issue you utter numpty!!.

the fact that oculus have offered nothing in the way of compensation is shocking. for a week over xmas i could not use my games at all.
