Others would say the biggest issue is none of that, its lack of Odyssey on consoles. So were Frontier to make a big push to add new content, you’ll get console commanders complaining. As it stands, many of them respond to things like the emotes, the Scorpion, and FC interiors with disdain and anger.
Damned if they do, damned if they don’t.
Even if (by some miracle) they delivered a stream of content and narrative that delighted 99.99% of players, this forum would still be populated by the 0.01% complaining that the game’s ruined, Frontier don’t care about what the community really wants, and that everything currently in game is useless.

I get in VR 30 to 60 FPS@RTX 3090 with mostly ultra enabled. Could you share your settings. 90 FPS@VR seems very high with ultra settings.

Experiment with settings... I use a 6900XT GPU and 5900X CPU. Perhaps the combination works well together?

It's only here as a matter of history and I'm not really sure what anyone Frontier gains from posting here apart from the same announcements they would put on Facebook/Twitter.

They should close down Facebook/Twitter & Reddit(?), but then I would say that as I don't read the others.
So what they gain is access to those like me.

Instead of closing the forum, us users could stop harassing the CMs, complaining about FDev, and fighting each other. We could instead use it for helping each other, and with a bit of luck get the occasional nugget of information and the occasional discussion with a CM looking for information from the player base. I know, a pipedream..

I disagree, I don't use either FB or tweet, but I do like the forums.
I like the forums, but they're not very practical.
For example, the current CG. The reward details are buried 8 pages deep in one of the two threads about it, meaning most players have absolutely no idea about it, what the decals are, the fact the rewards are super-engineered, and so on.
If they were posted on Twitter instead, then everyone could know immediately. All the memes and crap could be filtered out, and only the important questions(which is to say, the ones Fdev replies to) would be seen.
The forums are 85% useless memes, 10% useless suggestions that will never be seen, 4% player-run events(which would probably be better on Reddit or Discord anyway), and 1% actual, relevant information.
And that's probably being generous.
If they ditched the forums, let the community fully shift over to Reddit, and did everything via twitter, I don't doubt for a second that the overall experience would be dramatically better.
