Update 13, Narrative and Access to 4.0

Apperently we were misleading with Horizont. The 4.0 was promised with Update 13. NOT the following week(s). So THX FDev to lie half of your players and focusing only ODY players.

I did ask ingame chat anyone with Horizont has 4.0 and no-one does. Ody Players just wondering "realy you dont have it? "poor you" etc.

I dont know what happening at Frontier. And dont get upset those players who bought your games and enjoyed it. : -- ) BTW, Any Fdev can reply to us on this thead or they just hide and wont comment anything?

FDev is UK based. It's midnight here - they're not at work, so they're not going to reply here until the morning, at least.

This option is expected to come in the weeks following Update 13 with more details to be shared closer to the time.

The end of the post there is " Therefore, Horizons players will be able to witness the final event in the Azimuth Saga and access related gameplay scenarios. Moving forwards, all PC players will have access to content in the next narrative phase given they are using version 4.0, except in cases where on-foot gameplay (and by extension, Odyssey) is required. I dont see any content except the intro video whitch is " related" of the saga, except as it mantioned up there.. "some dead ships" and scavenging.

- also i can use all my Guardian weapon in HIP 22460 without any problem. So Horizont Players didnt get anyting from the Saga but it was there, promised

None of the gameplay in the aftermath of this event is accessible to Horizons players, it is accessible to Odyssey players only. Unless you are playing Horizons, and you know different? In which case, you got a different update to the rest of us.

Thats what i talkin' about... Horizont Players do get nothing from Update 13

Haha, yes, no exploding guns here! I did shoot the Bright Sentinel a few times to see if I could wake it up, but no joy.

True, the wording wasn't clear, specially when they said Horizon players wouldn't miss any content. But first patch days come and they miss everything, the entire end of the Azimuth Saga.

Some form of miss comunication it seems.

About what we've come to expect from this game.

That cutscene was still impressive though, pity they couldn't have been doing things like that all the way through.

Well, you could argue that the misfortunate event of the firing of the proteus wave was the finale, everyone got that. The state of the system after that is already the aftermath story.
