Ramming exemption for notoriety everywhere? Does this mean that griefers can just finish a kill with a ram and still have zero notoriety?

Probably not because if you shoot the target first, you become hostile. But there is a loophole right there.

As opposed to griefers can just run their shieldless lightweight sidey against any other player anywhere and not only load them with a murder bounty but also a notoriety point.

The basic problem in collisions remains unsolved: prove that it was intentional - and who did the ramming. Answers on a postcard, please.

Does that actually work? Wow.... Will this trigger an ATR response? If so, then in some ways this is more of a grief tactic than ramming another ship. The little devil on my shoulder wants to go ram some posh Cutter in a disposable Sidewinder and see what happens. (Don't worry, I won't)

So no fix for faction influence being truncated on the system map? This bug is forcing me, and everyone else who does BGS, to use third party tools in order to get accurate influence figures. THEY ARE NOT AVAILABLE IN GAME!

Outfitting

  • Fixed ship name plates unintentionally allowing line breaks

That mean I won't be able to have this ? [cry][cry][cry] :

I noticed that with this 3.0.2 patch, board hopping was broken on every station I went to (Fusang, Sothis Mining and Newholm, New Dawn, Bernhards Star ect.) the boards never refresh they just stay as they are.

HOTAS/Controller recognition bug still not fixed on Xbox.

Is there even one fix for any of the really annoying, serious and/or longstanding bugs in there? Apart from maybe the crash fixes?

"Engineered AI ships have been added to Assassination Wing Missions to provide more challenge"

Good move to add engineered AI ships, because that improves variety and makes it more challenging. They should also be in RES sites and other missions.

If you want challange play pvp.

Does this mean you've tested it already in a lawful system?

Sure seems like there could be a stable middle ground here. Have some measure of whether a hostile flag was refreshed by gun fire at any point during the fight. Have multiple Rams be counted as a fine attack. Have a further check to see who was moving faster when the collision occurred. The faster pilot is the attacker.

Ram-griefing would still be possible, but it would be a pita to pull it off.
