The wing missions have been nerfed????

Just fired up the Xbox and 8 out of 10 wing cargo missions are now 137.00+ light years away, playing solo and using a Type 9 now makes those missions a grind to hell and wing cargo missions unplayable really for a solo player, is this nerf intended as it was not in the patch notes?

Darkspire

I'm on Xbox, just updated, and all wing haulage missions are to local systems. And the reward have been improved. Cheapest wing mission I'm seeing (for haulage) is playing 9M CR. I'm allied to all factions in my home system.

Are you outside the bubble?

Pay attention, being in a hot ship blocks outfitting EVERYWHERE.

You can't goto IF and pay your fines/bounties?

  • Fixed an issue where players were sometimes unable to rebuy their ship after disconnecting when dying
Sounds like a feature to me, considering the monumentally low odds of someone having their internet cut out just at the moment they die, vs the odds of it being a log they claim was a disconnect.

Because that makes it impossible for people who want to play as criminals and are ok with having a bounty some places. I was enjoying planning around using the nearest anarchy system as my base, and being wanted in the systems where I was shooting things.

REALLY hoped to see the following

  • Fixed an issue where three or more SRVs in one instance would cause the game to crash on Xbox One.

It really is a GAME BREAKING bug :(

Can confirm that data drop bug is not fixed, at least at Dav's Hope datapoint.
Please check and confirm at settlements and outposts from planetary scan missions.

Nice one..... must be a tough bug to fix I bet......

And I tried again:

What about that comms panel FDev? Not fixed, or not in the patch notes?

Oh and do NPCs react on getting their PP shot out now or not? Because yesterday they still kept on fighting as if nothing had happened...

I’m very glad I went exploring on drop of 3.0. Apart from FA turning itself on incessantly and the map crashing I’ve had it pretty easy. I feel for people just trying to engage with the game and do their thing. It has to be frustrating. I’m sure the developer is trying but just turning stuff off is a pretty extreme solution. Even if just for an interim.

I do appreciate the fixes. I could just do without frontier making these extreme changes, 4 years on. This sort of extreme bludgeon of change would be expected in beta, not in a live release.

He doesn't want to. Some players want to keep flying a hot ship. It's a status. A challenge. Like flying a 0% paint ship, except it has an actual impact on your experience.

I don't want to weaken my weapon loadout when I go mining, but I have to in order to fit mining lasers.

Criminals? Welcome to consequences. As people are fond of saying, 'its Elite Dangerous'. Not 'Elite: Risk-free career & no consequences whatsoever'.

Think of it as a challenge. You want to keep your status? Plan ahead.

Sandro we need answers on the outfitting lockout. You and your team have essentially shut down the play style of ALL professional criminals. I had every intention of living with wanted tags and a huge bounty on my head, this makes it all but impossible.

This is game breaking and an immediate response is required. At the very least revert this change until a reasonable solution can be implemented.

Why shouldn't criminals be able to outfit in anarchy systems at least? Bounties are local. I accept being locked out of the stations in a jurisdiction where I commit crimes, but losing all outfitting everywhere makes no sense without resorting to the logic of people who just want the system to screw over people they dislike.

It’s always wise for a mechanic to comment on brain surgery because they obviously have first hand experience and changing a muffler is just the same as removing some malignant tissue. Right?

Oh.

Although I dislike PvP and play in PG to avoid it most of the time I agree that it is overly punishing and makes no sense from an ingame view.

consequence, it's foolishness.

The intent of the entire system wasn't to pay off you fine/bounty every time you get one, I'm a damn law breaking criminal. This is now not an option as I can't even swap Hatch Breakers for another Collector Limpet in a damn lawless Anarchy system. This isn't consequence, it's foolishness.
