Rises from the grave to check patch notes.

Closes browser and returns back to playing other games.

Maybe next patch will actually fix documented issues.

Ditto, though I also went the extra step and downloaded the patch to see if it might have fixed the bugs I reported (with meticulous documentation) earlier this year.

No joy. :(

So as the song goes, I'll be back for Christmas, please fix these bugs for me, la de da, goodbye now, chow, and later we'll see!

You have to collect the items from the depot in the same way as a wing delivery mission; seems a complete balls up to me!

If this means I can accept a delivery mission when in my combat ship and then switch to something with the required cargo space to actually run the mission then I think it’s good: lost count of the number of times I’ve switched ship or added cargo space to take a particularly lucrative hauling contract only to find it gone when I get back to the mission list.

thank you for providing another way to get armor and hull reinforcement upgrades. i'd much rather fly 20K ly to colonia (which i havent done yet) then mine 500 tons of anything.

Can anyone explain me what this mean? What you can do with this cargo depot?

the cargo wing mechanic allows you to bring batches of cargo rather than requiring you to bring all the cargo at once. so if you find a great delivery job while flying around in your 2 ton sidewinder, you can take the mission, switch ships and complete the mission.

note this same 'wing' mechanic was extended to fetch missions during that last major update.

graphics have been improved(?) but not in the log?

Stars and smoke effects seam smoother, fuzzier, glossier? Not as rigid. Thargoid sensor beams and Supercruise tails, the Rays from the stars all seam to have changed, subtley (for the better).

The Supercruise effect has been improved and the background nebula effect seams be far more pronounced.

A precursor to the "Offical" adaptive lighting?

Performance seamed to be smoother and more solid on my weak nvida 950

Oh now the light dawns EMMM my diatribe earlier may have been misplaced.

So this would be useful

Hey Commanders,

We are aware of the crash issue with multiple SRV's on console. We will have information about this specific issue as soon as possible.

If anyone spots a bug do please share it in the Bug Reporting Forum so our team can check it out!

Paul,

Let me start by saying thank you for all your hard work today.

That said, I also want to share that many XBOX and PS4 Elite players have reported on the "multiple SRV hard crash" issue since it was introduced in 3.0 back in February. I even reported the issue multiple times with links to the exact timestamps in my videos when it happened during livestreams.

While planets do look much nicer now, it's also impossible to enjoy them with more than one friend at a time on consoles. Note that this was never a problem in 2.x on XBOX, as can been seen in nearly two years of livestreams on my channel.

While I totally get some bugs take longer to fix than others, PLEASE if at all possible confirm back to us that FDev is truly aware of the issue, and if it is already fixed in 3.2 or if there is a target for a fix in 3.3, 4.0, etc.

Many thanks in advance,

Grey

Well the good news is that Q4 is next :)

To be frank I was sceptical about having anything to checkout for me in Q3 as well.

However several critical cool things are added - new beacons are cool and SLF sounds so easy to get that I might even jump into action, depot for delivery missions - and I am happy. I know it is not for everyone, and SRV bug sounds...nasty, but overall...this will do while we are waiting for Q4.

Btw, where is the Space Loach, Beige Cowboy, you name it? ED is not the same without him, for good or for bad. :D

I suspect he and team is hard at work to get exploration FF out and work on Q4.

Well, all the positivity aside, let me put it this way: whenever we do a major release event, all the staff is expected to be there. Team leads in particular, anybody above that is considered granted. No holidays whatsoever. Ok, no words from DBOBE too this time, but looks strange IMHO. Just mentioning.
