Nope as its in view. But it will draw a while side of a planet you can fly to and land on, if you're close enough.
RDR2 is not a FPS and neither is Odyssey a FPS. It's like comparing apples and oranges.
As someone playing off a 4K TV as well, I feel your pain. I've had to bump down to a 2560x1440 resolution to have a more feasible experience and messing around with SS at x1.0 to x0.75. It isn't the best solution. Honestly it blows, but I hope that somewhat alleviates things for you.Well. Its really about the same for me. To get a solid 60 FPS on 4K TV I have to go to .65 SS. Otherwise I have to cap at 45 because motion is terrible if the FR hits the 50s.
Of course the new bugs introduced are impacting me more than the things they fixed.
There is something weird with the HDMI connection but running at anything other than 4K causes the loss of contrast and color. Interesting it show yours as a 4GB card too. Wonder why.View attachment 246988

Yeah... no idea?! its definitely 6GB...Interesting it show yours as a 4GB card too. Wonder why.
Is ED space ship Shooter? Yes Odyssey has shooting, but it's not just a shooter..it's First person perspective play. A FPS, you have to shoot to progress. There is a big difference. How is RDR2 or the on-foot part of Odyssey not an fps? Not first person? Or not shooter?
While you are on foot in either game, how they are rendering the environment is totally comparable.
All of this is totally irrelevant if you compare how efficiently Odyssey and RDR2 are rendering the environment from first person (on foot) perspective. Is ED space ship Shooter? RDR2 I'm pretty sure is a 3rd person game (I have it). And again I wouldn't call it an out and out shooter. There is much more to it then shooting. Unlike game such as Doom, Quake, Marathon (for those that remember it), Half Lift 1 and 2, which are all FPSers as the predominant gameplay is shooting.
Sure you can play Odyssey as a FPS, but I can't imagine the experience being good if you completely ignore the rest of the game.
Apparently this benchmark thingy cannot count to more than 4095:Interesting it show yours as a 4GB card too. Wonder why.
Guess I should expect that from a benchmark software from 2007Apparently this benchmark thingy cannot count to more than 4095:

If you want to add me to the table:I've only got a 1080p screen to test with, so that should really be the lowest common denominator.
I'd suggest doing the run on Fullscreen Ultra preset to get a worst case scenario.
Those with higher panels a run at 1080 and native (4k panels could run at 1440 too, if you're up for it) would give good indicators too.
I've actually started collating into a Excel sheet (I might have had too much time on my hands...) so happy to update with more accurate figures, and I think it would also be interesting to see the difference higher end cards are achieving at higher resolutions.
