Updated Permit List

I just became allied with the Chapter of Isinor faction, but I did not get a permit mission to Isinor yet. I have tried finding it at the following stations (which are controlled by the Chapter of Isinor):

Reshas - Luiken City
Anotchadiae - Malerba Orbital and Crown Dock
LTT 5053 - Virchow Depot

Seeing as there is no station within Isinor, I suspect there is no way to obtain the permit.
I guess I just wasted several hours of game play getting allied with them.
Next time I will make sure there is a station with the system requiring the permit before I try becoming allied to the controlling faction! :S

I have had trouble with permits in Nastrond, Jotun, and just now in Peregrina, allied with the factions but no permit showing at all on the Bulletin Boards......
I had a ticket in as of thursday and the reply was the information is to be looked at.
Off to Ltt 198 and try for that one, upto 22 permits now, wish they would open up the other permit systems available.

Hmm, I did Luyten 347-14 just before the weekend at it seemed to work properly. I am heading to LTT-198 too and we'll see.

Yes that dropped for me Lyten 347-14 also Terra mater, Tiliala, Van manaans star, and Phekda with no problems, I left Jotun and Nastrond at allied but no permit mission on the Boards, went to Peregrina and allied there but no permit mission showing, just landed in Ltt 198 and the permit mission is showing there so going to crack on with that one....

Hmmm, that means I will delay Nastrond and Peregrina for the time being. That left me with Sirius and Pi Mensae.

In this case: Watch @ map. "Chapter of Isinor" control a lot of systems and stations in the area now. But no longer ISINOR.
You have missed the "permit window". Can't work.
Who has the permit never look back ... I saw this today as I tested if maybe something other occur since 1.3.0.6. at the "convoi beacon".
Seems nobody else then OP can update first page. Thats (internet)life.

Is there a typical way that permits work, such as a required distance for the system nearest to earn the permit? I assume there's no indicator in advance?

I'm near wolf 262 right now and I'm wondering what faction might eventually give it.

Hey guys, it seems there is a lot of info that needs to be changed. :p

I have made some changes since I last looked at this thread 3 weeks ago, but please let me know if I missed anything. :)

Remember that if you aren't getting the mission granting the permit, sometimes you have to do a few more missions for the faction (after you get allied) before the permit shows up (maybe something to do with the RNG). However, it seems to me that multiple people have had issues with the Isinor permit (which I have personally...albeit obtained before 1.3) and other system permits, so I have modified the OP.

If there is anything I missed, definitely post here or PM me. :)

I got this particular permit, but I obtained it before 1.3. I may take a look.

Wow! I just realized!

ALMOST ALL INDEPENDENT SYSTEM PERMIT FACTIONS NOW OWN A STATION (aside from maybe Nastrond?) !! GREAT JOB GUYS!!! I highly suspect this thread has something to do with making this possible, although it was inevitable either way. ;)

I am giving Peregrina a check, but usually the permit missions are quite often visible under unobtainable missions before you're allied. So if it's never there, then it is broken.

EDIT: Yep, after several BB cycle, no permit mission appear under unobtainable missions. It seems that it is indeed broken.

Permit ISINOR

Welcome back CMDR!

Also after your update for me:

>ISINOR
>Faction: Chapter of Isinor faction
>Rep Systems: Anotchadiae*, Reshas and LTT 5053

is missleading for interested CMDR's and can result in big disappointments.
Controlling faction is now: "ISINOR GOLD NATURAL LTD" . Watch the map!
Hard to believe that "Chaptor of ISINOR" with his <4% is able to bring it back to them.
May be a "PowerPlay"-failure. But Frontier change massiv again and again without any notice.

Peregrina update. I get myself allied with Peregrina Aristrocrats and as expected, there is no permit despite it controlling Talos 1 with 54.3% influence. This means that Talos 2 is the system control station and it is currently controlled by Co-operative of Peregrina with 45.7% influence. Since Co-operative of Peregrina does not have any influence outside the system, Peregrina Permit is unobtainable for the foreseeable future unless Peregrina Aristocrats can somehow gain control of Talos 2.

Continuing to Nastrond, same result... Defense Party of Nastrond control Arderns Hill with only 12.6% influence, while Dragons of Nastrond control Rochon Ring with 81.4% influence. Dragons of Nastrond have no influence outside the system. This is interesting because Ardens Hill is definitely the control station, so Defense Party of Nastrond still have possession of the system, but its low influence is preventing it to give away permits.

Hmm interesting. But how do we make these factions gain influence inside systems where we can't go ? Even if they go to civil war to get back their systems we won't we able to help since we can't get there ...

Yes, it appears this may be the case, as I can verify they are currently at 54% and the controlling faction.

There IS a way to change this, but it would be very hard. With no stations in the system, AT ALL, the only way to move these percentages is to blast Gold Natural LTD ships till they go to 0%. Then, whoever gains control, blast them, and so on and so forth. Thankfully, the ships in the convoy ARE owned by Gold Natural, so a wing can steadily grind them down, and this can be repeated till the chapter eventually gains control

Also, doing missions for the chapter OUTSIDE the system DOES influence them INSIDE the system as far as I know. But the real challenge is getting the chapter high enough to actually take control again.

But yea, the convoy beacons still aren't really worth the time for what you can get for it. You only get 4-6 antiquities which can be sold for 90k credits. You have to destroy both condas (ramming one of them to death before you attack is a good way to even the odds), and then you have to use hatchbreakers on the T9 (which of course has point defense). Then you have to sell the darn things. All this takes a good 10-15 minutes, which could have been used for simple trading, and there is no additional benefit that balances out the decrease in profits.

Of course, if you want to wait even LONGER, you can simply equip a wake scanner and an interdictor, wait till the T9 warps out, then follow it to the system it jumps to and interdict it. Then you won't have to deal with the condas. I actually just followed the thing, and eventually it just low waked, so interdictor is entirely optional. :p

If there was a way to make it where the chapter utilizes a unique MISSION, which pays INCREDIBLY WELL (like, at LEAST 1M or more), making the place a potential location for grinding (alternatively, they could make antiquities like 900k each), then people with the permit like myself might actually have a reason to grind out the antiquities. FD could also just ADD new factions for Gold Natural LTD to surrounding systems to make the permit work again too.......
