This might be interesting - 2.4 is changing how the missions for ranking and permits is filled - maybe more permit missions will start appearing?

Pi Mensae Brotherhood doesn't seem to give permit to Pi Mensae. I've dumped about 7m cr worth of exploration data on them, got allied, but no permit mission. Mode switched for an hour now to no avail.
Or maybe i was just lucky, but i've done the same for 6-7 other factions just before this, and their permit mission were always there when i reached allied with them.

It seems you were right: The system was 15,58 ly away it was the only place where the faction was in control of a station. I went closer where they just had a presence and they issued the permit.

Me too - I think a heading for 'broken permits' has dropped off the FP - there are several unrelated to the feds in that area.
This permit is on the permits spreadsheet, and already specifically notes that 4 Sextantis Inc and the other 4 Sextantis faction that is accessible do not appear to give out the permit.
I spent a few minutes to verify whether this was still true or not and found this star quite randomly. It wasn't Col 70 or Horsehead Dark Region either.
Incidentally I can most certainly say I discovered a new permit system!

Either way, hopefully I have clarified that Bernard's loop statement. I'm sure other random stars that aren't specifically grouped are in the area as well.

When I first got to the Anotchadiae system it showed the permit mission in the list but of course I didnt have the faction. Now I worked my faction to max and have yet to see that permit mission again.

This certainly shouldn't be the case in 2.4, as the patch notes say they've improved the permit mission availability.
Maybe a bug report.
Did they change the forums to have an all white background now, or is it just my browser settings? I'll have to modify the OP if that's the case. Maybe do away with the color schemes.
Certainly still available, I've only been playing since August and I picked it up at some point:
There have always been themes with light backgrounds - you can change it back by clicking the box in the bottom left corner, or if not there by clicking "full site".
But IMHO yes you should do away with the colour schemes, as they have always been a problem for those of us that use the mobile/light themes. It's the fault of the forum really for letting people choose specific colours rather than colour 1, colour 2, colour 3 etc.

I have changed the formatting scheme in the OP. Much more simple now. Also moved tips higher in the hierarchy as well.
Also, if there are any suggestions in what should go in the OP, I'm always open to them. Just write what you would like to see and where it should go, and I might add it.

Can we get the planets that are not permit locked but people have had issues landing (Ganymede, Moon, Callisto) on broken out from those with permits (Lave 2, Diso 5 C).
In fact I just landed on Ganymede & Callisto, but I haven't got specific permits for them. Unless they're locked on a Fed rank or something?
Luna / Moon isn't even landable, so not sure why this is on the list at all.
