Updated Permit List

Ok thanks
I wanted to drop data to get allied, I guess I cant do that if they don't control a station.
This is how I did it for lots of the permits. Shock horror that Terra Mater is the last one of the standard permits I'm outstanding :D. Need to get back to the bubble and put the effort in to run missions.

Yes, we forced the Conservatives out of every other system they were in, and sealed off Tiliala for any new commander who did nothave the permit.. It took us 18 months to do so. We then sent FDEV some transmission, which had encrypted messages in for them to decypher..

It was some awesome rolepalying and fun..

Listen to the transmissions www.blackfleet.xyz

How come EDDB shows Tiliata as the Black Fleet's home system?

I presume they requested that system as their home it before the rules were changed.

Can unreachable factions be forced out of systems allowing permit granting faction to change on other systems too?

I've had a bug report pending on this for a while, and bumped it just the other day in response to the Tiliala incident.

My gut feeling is that the other permits may get the same treatment. *crosses fingers*

I don't see where they said they expanded there?

Was in another thread.
We expanded into Tiliala 18 months ago, and took it over.. we then removed the Conservatives system by system station after station... We worked very hard to get this, and as far as I know, the only player faction to be premit givers.. But I may be wrong on that... as we only have been focused on our little area of space.. It was great fun though, now we are just kicking back and relaxing and drinking some fine Black Fleet whisky.. Well done to all BF members for your hard work over the last 18 months

Hmm.

I'm not sure, but I think the home system information for PFs in EDDB is manual, so it may just simply be wrong there. I'll query on the Community Dev's Discord.

We originally requested to have our home system as Tiliala. When we were told no nearly 2 years ago, we hatched the plan to do what Lynk1973 stated. We started the endeavor 18 months ago slowly at first, but the most progress has been in the past 6 months. Once we succeeded, on the 29th of October, we informed Frontier of what we did in story form. Once they figured out what we did, they gave us partial permit holder status, moved our home system from Varpet to Tiliala, and created the faction status of "Exile". Once a Faction is in exile, they get a wells class cruiser outside the permitted(home) system so players can still run missions with the NPC permit holders.

I think this is brilliant.

In that case, well done.

Nope
And allied with faction and logged off and on
Is it bugged?

Did you actually get the in game notification that you'd ranked up? I've found that is sometimes delayed and that notification goes along with the permit.

You definitely don't need to be allied with any faction.

As for whether it's bugged, well, not to anyone's knowledge, no. If after everything else you've tried it hasn't unlocked then I suggest raising a bug report.

You need rank Baron. Summerland is Baron according to wiki. Lord is one lower.

I wonder if this and the Hors permit (Post Commander) were changed at some point, because I've seen conflicting information for both Summerland and Hors. I confirmed for myself that Hors was Post Commander, not Commander as I'd originally thought (sourced from somewhere), and now we have Lord -> Baron for Summerland.

Anyway - Baron it is, and that explains why you haven't got the permit.

Edit: I've updated the spreadsheet, and also added a note about Black Fleet and Tiliala.

I got Lord on the right panel, but no message, maybe got to wait

Ok if baron then first post and spreadsheet needs updating

Ah - didn't even check FP :) It is wrong I believe - and spreadsheet was based off the data. Those permits are not really the focus of the thread so I can see how it's been overlooked.

Edit: Would be good to have a second source for the Summerland <-> Baron connection - if you could report back when you get it that would be cool - wikia says Baron, but I'm not sure how much we should trust it.
