Fiction US Amazon/Kindle users - please read

HI all

A couple of you who are using Amazon US have said that the Gollancz books haven't arrived. It looks as if, somehow, Amazon has duplicated the entries for the titles and created new records/ASIN numbers etc, and so if you've ordered the 'wrong' ones, they're unable to supply the books as, to all intents and purposes, they don't exist.

Below are the correct links to order - I think the best thing to do is cancel your orders for the 'incorrect' versions and reorder these ones, which should download right away.

If you have ordered the 'wrong' versions, please can you do us a favour and email Amazon support to point out their error? We will do so as well but they always move more quickly when customers point things out...

And if someone can confirm that the below links work, I'd also be grateful.

I have no idea why - or how - they've done this...

Best,
Marcus

Cool!

Oh, and I meant to say - if anyone sees other people mentioning this issue, can you direct them here/explain to them? I'll have to go offline in a bit...

Hmmm, I get "this title is not currently available to purchase" when I follow those links

Me too. When I search only kindle, I get versions that aren't available until May 22. I assumed those were the wrong ones but I can download these yet others have... maybe it's just too early in the morning here in the states?

Right, back to the drawing board. I'm utterly bemused as to how some people in the US have got them, and some haven't. We're looking into it...

They don't even have proper electronic money transfer here, just cheques they'll post for you on a monthly basis! Probably something to do with all those different states

Just a heads-up that the US site and above links work for me, but I'm from Finland. Perhaps Amazon.com is serving their international Kindle customers now, but the natives only on the 22nd?

Still not quite sure what's going on. Can someone from the US who has had problems please try one of these links?

http://www.amazon.com/Elite-Docking-Difficult-Dangerous-ebook/dp/B00JDJIXAS

http://www.amazon.com/Elite-Wanted-Dangerous-Gavin-Deas-ebook/dp/B00JDJIXBC

http://www.amazon.com/Elite-Nemorensis-Dangerous-Simon-Spurrier-ebook/dp/B00JDJIXC6

Sorry for all this. If there's someone in the US who has managed to download one, could you please post a link to the url you used?

Ta
Marcus

Still get the same result. The link takes me to a page where I can choose between the paper edition and the Kindle edition, and when I click on the Kindle edition link, it still says the book will be released on the 22nd.

OK, please can someone in the US who has so far had problems getting the books try this?

Go to Amazon.com, open two tabs.

Type the following ASINs into the two search boxes:

B00JDJIXAS
B00JJ325Z2

Let me know if either of them are purchasable and will download for you, and what the two screens look like.

Also, if anyone in the US HAS managed to download DOCKING IS DIFFICULT from Amazon, can you look at your email receipt or purchase history and let me know which of those two ASINs your copy has?

Thanks for all of your patience on this!
Marcus
