very strange jump through witchspace

I was leaving maia and jumped to my first system on route, I had a very strange occurrence. I didn't get the chance to record it, so I jumped back and had and even stranger experience. this I recorded. I then left it recording while I jumped back out. it didn't happen the second time. anyway first jump recorded a glitch, bug, or the enemy?

Assuming it's a (careful to avoid spoilers) loss of power caused by an external force, it's the latter of your options.

upload stuck @94%. sending to utube. trying a fix that I have found. will post it elsewhere if it fails to complete.
the fix that I found is close the webpage. recording did not show so I decided to try ul it again. started at 95% and completed. very strange.
if you have this issue try it out.

EDIT: From the clip, it looks like a graphics/visual bug. The sounds of hyperjumping are still present, and so are a few visuals you normally see. It appears a few textures/graphics didn't show up. Nu thergids here

the last time I encountered the thargoids everything in my ship went a redish colour, just like in vid.
