If those images are a taster of what is to come, then we can see some pretty outstanding landscapes being created. I am hoping that we will still be able to create waterfalls, that tumble over rocks which are more natural looking. Making waterfalls in RCT3 isn't the best method, where you have to raise the ground as a large block, create a smaller section with a rim by lowering it to create a lake, then use the smoothing tool to get rid of the flat sides. It's a bit of a tricky thing to create if you are not used to it and it took me a while to get it right. There isn't much scope other than building a flat sheet of water to drop from the top lake into a bottom lake and although they can be made to look better by adding vegetation and terraforming some hills around it, that's about your limit.
These new tools for Planet Coaster will hopefully allow us to make some proper looking cascading features. But from what we have seen so far with the landscaping tools, it looks promising.

Yup, educated guess...but not so much a "I hope it is..."
I hope it's more than just one theme- but it's just an alpha.
You have these attractions but there are not many of them there yet, i just hope they have more attractions then RCT3.
