[VIDEO] Elite Dangerous - Maia

A couple of days ago I made my first trip to the Pleiades Nebula. Pretty shameful really when you think I've been playing Elite Dangerous since beta and how close this particular nebula is to the bubble. I made a short video of my journey around Maia system. It was also my first time creating music so the accompanying sounds are pretty basic and are the works of a novice.

That ambient colour on planets is really something

It's very atmospheric.

I especially like the use of some very unique and cinematic camera angles you use to show off the system.

Also, that first cut form the star to the station was superb. Instantly builds a very nice atmosphere.

All in all, very well done I'd say.

Many thanks to you both. One of the main reasons why I play Elite is because of the wonderful atmosphere and ambiance it creates. No other game like it in my opinion.

But we we're promised planets WITHOUT any atmosphere, shakes head, FD letting us down again!
