Hi there,
I just bought E
and found out that your program is really nice when flying around The only problem I have is, that VoiceMacro sometimes does not recognize the commands I say (especially "shields"). I've already tried to learn this specific words to the MS Speech Engine, but even there it fails to recognize me sometimes. Sometimes VoiceMacro recognizes even german words, although I've set my Windows to english).
But the interesting thing is, that another program which I've tried first (https://github.com/baykovr/AVPI) is better at recognizing me (although it has a much more limited set of functions). I've already tried to play a bit with the Recognizer settings, but with no success.
So, my final question is, do you have any ideas how I could train my Speech engine even better or which settings I would have to change, so that VoiceMacro recognizes me better. Saying 10-15 times "shields" in a row without anything happening doesnt isnt that much fun :/

Sorry for the late reply, I barely visit this forum lately
This sounds like you have set the german speech recognition engine in VoiceMacro, try checking the recognizer settings and verify you selected english recognizer engine
BTW - VoiceMacro does not do the recognizing job, this is done via API by the Microsoft Speech Recognizer engine built-in Windows, so using other software will not change anything speech recognition related
Also read this
"Shields" is not very good to use as command, too short! I strongly recommend using 2 or 3 words where recognizing works way better, and you will have practically NEVER any unwanted recognitions by noise, bumps to the micro or while talking, sneezing etc... try using "activate shields", or "toggle shields" as command instead
Also make sure you set the correct default microphone in Windows, otherwise VoiceMacro might listen to you via your webcam instead of your Headset

I stumbled upon your program while looking for a free alternative to Voice Attack, and it's been great so far! I've been using it for nearly a week now.
Currently I just have it managing pips- hit one button for full pips to what ever I need. I tried using AutoHotKey scripts for this but they never seemed to work correctly.
So far it's only stopped working once, but I just had to restart it so it wasn't a big deal. I also have a feeling it wasn't really the program's fault, because my computer sucks and I was running several other programs. Anyway, thank you very much for this! It works like a charm

Have you tried the latest test build (currently 1.1.0.11) or are you using soon to be replaced public version 1.1?
The test build has got LOTS of fixes, new features + a complete rework of all GUI's to support bigger font size settings
