Voyager 1 & 2 Unidentified Signals

I have it on good authority that by 3300 Voyager I will have encountered an alien artificial intelligence that will reprogram it and send it back to Earth in search of it's creator with the goal of evolving through procreation as is the goal of all sentient lifeforms.

Would be very cool if the Voyager craft were added to the Elite galaxy. Not sure about how far away from Sol they would be. Perhaps it's something that explorers could scan down? There are a couple of other spacecraft launched in the 1970s which would theoretically still be out there in 3300, assuming they're not already in an Imperial museum ;)

By the year 3300, with hyperdrives and all that being commonplace, I would expect that all the old probes (Voyager 1+2, New Horizons etc.) have long since been collected and put into museums. :)

Is there an Earth in this galaxy then?

Dude...

Not only earth but our whole galaxy.

Tonight go outside, look up.. all those stars are all in game to a pretty accurate distance and scale.

Popped a noodle yet?

No? Then listen up

Wherever you are in the galaxy the sky box is a fairly accurate representation of every star and of what you would actually see if you were in that part of space..

Seriously when you can, fly to Sol, you'll be able to pick out the plough and other constellations.

/mindblown = noodle everywhere.

Maybe it will be part of a station museum. Star port whatever has an area you can walk around it and learn about it in the future release. After all they did say they wanted us able to walk about well that’s something players could actually get out to see.

Will there be museum parks around the Apollo landing sites on the Moon, like there was one in the anime Planetes?

Any idea if Voyager 1 is in the game?

Would be seriously cool to actually go and find it.
Would also make almost no sense if it's not in the game at all.
Perfect easter egg if you ask me.
