Newcomer / Intro VTOL and no downward light

Just a simple question for the developers, why with the games VTOL craft wasn't a downward facing light included?
Is there a PepBoys or Autozone somewhere where we can pick one up?

And yes, I know about night vision. Does zero good at 100 meters off the deck unless you want to stick your canopy into a rock.

I suspect the reason is because you have a HUD that covers the issue pretty nicely. Not that I disagree with the sentiment that it would be nice, especially for VR users who can just look down out the window in ships that have that ability.

Should be landing lights when landing gear deployed.
Also ability to turn off all external lights.
