My suggestion would be to either convert the stellar and surface scanners, as well as the docking computer, to fit in the Utility Points, or to enable grouping of these three in a single Class 3 compartment. Especially with larger ships, such as the cutter, there are no Class 1 slots, so if you want to have any of the scanners or a docking computer, you have to sacrifice valuable cargo space.
