Nope. Play it however you want to. By if you choose to play in the most grindy and boring way possible, don't moan about it.
Even I have done some with rares for engineers, but I am not moaning about it as I chose to do it.
No-one's 'moaning' about anything.
People are raising legitimate concerns and questions about aspects of the game that can be vastly improved to make sure player retention is high and new players feel welcomed and able to progress in a timely and reasonable fashion.

Taken individually, yes very much so.
Taken collectively, it shows there's a problem within the game that need to be addressed.
It's easy to dismiss one person as just a moaner who wants an iWin button.
It's not so easy to dismiss an issue that a whole load of one peoples have brought to the fore.
A couple of the more famous Youtubers from this community have said exactly the same thing in recent videos. Given Fdev usually flip their ears up and take notice of criticism from these individuals, hopefully we'll see some steps forward in addressing this issue.

There's some, but plenty of players with legitimate points of view are being lumped in as "moaners who want an iWin button" and so forth, which isn't fair.
While I 100% accept that there are issue with the game, I firmly believe that people have been so indoctrinated into the grind mentality that they struggle to play any other way. Even if FDev created a million ways to do one thing people will just find the easiest and most efficient way and grind it out. And then moan about it afterwards.
I think I may have said that once about a year ago. Nothing recent though.
