We really need a fix for the escaping animals issue...

when this bug gonna be fixed? It's getting pathetic

It seems to be getting worse - I've had about 10 erroneous escapes in the last couple of hours involving a wide range of animals. Barriers are never broken, the animals just walk through the walls apparently.

Incidentally, these are mostly in habitats I've been using with no problems until now. The heat map never shows escape routes or broken barriers.

it has to do with miscalculation of (I guess) dimensions/ position. This habitat has never had problems for 100 ingame years before. The same has been happening for my Wildebeest habitat, with which I had no problems until 1.0.3 for 200 ingame years. It only occurs (not everytime) when I load a save or resume play after being in pause mode for some time building something.

I'm also getting quite a few 'stuck' animals - I get an alert about low welfare, and I often find an animal unable to move on a bit of climbing platform, or seemingly unable to move from sitting down. Putting them in a box and moving them fixes the issue. I keep forgetting to take pics to post.

However, found this poor little blighter, just now. There's definitely something wrong with barriers.

I also have seen several people - and it happened to me twice - with red pandas being reported as escaped while being right in the middle of an habitat (being on a platform).

Argh! And to add insult to injury, what the hell is going on here!? I've just had an alert for an escaped lemur - the supposed culprit is on a climbing platform in the same way as the pics I posted earlier in this thread - and as I'm panning back out, I see THIS! No alert for him though!

Bloody Lemurs.

LOL, yah, I have the same problem with my Lemurs and...less often...with my red pandas. They also are auto-boxed pretty often when I'm not where even close to their enclosures doing whatever I'm doing. Sometimes I'm on the complete other end of the zoo and I get an alert about one of them being in a box for too long. :-/

I've been getting a LOT of auto-boxing too usually with lemurs/red pandas/macaques, but often gorillas and tigers, and occasionally other things.

I had this a lot last night... not had it since beta but its back! It seems to be if they climb higher than the fence. I was just ignoring it more worried about lions walking through glass. Im also getting boxed animals for no apparent reason, mainly Red Pandas.

My lemurs were forever escaping through glass barriers but putting in the walls with glass in them 4 mtrs high seems to have stopped them for now
