What 2020 Update "Red Flags" would concern you?

How the foxtrot is that going to work? I can just hear the station controller: "OK CMDR Le Chardon, docking clamps engaged, engines shut down, now remove your pilots headset to disembark"

Pilots removing their head gear when getting off the cockpit is not exactly something never seen before. I would wager pilots all around the world don't wear their helmet 24/7.

because legs doesnt support VR so you then have to disengage yourself from the immersive experience to look at a computer monitor showing your CMDR's view as they walk through the station... Apart from anything else, the VR window is like 1280*720 resolution to free up graphics resources to keep the framerate high for buttery smooth no nausea inducing lag. So land your ship, take your headset off, change your resolution, watch it flciker from postcard to full screen, wait a couple of seconds while it adjusts, confirm the new resolution and disable the HMD, walk to the station bar, hand in proof of kill for that shady assassination mission you just did the the mafioso in the corner of the bar, walk back to ship, change resolution, confirm the change, reenable HMD, don headset, hit station menu, accept next mission, fly off...

Don't think so.

If that were to be the only way for legs to work then tough cookies, it would be ridiculous to scrap one of the most wanted features just because it doesn't work well with a piece of hardware only a fraction of customers use. VR is a nice to gave, not a top priority.

Tough cookies is hardly the response of someone who proclaimed they didn't want to take away anyones nice things... Have you ever played in VR, not £7.99 headset from a petrol station with your phone clipped in, but proper VR? Can you actually say any of the walking in VR games that you played didn't "work"?

Didn't think so.

What is ridiculous is the mere possibility that you think I'm suggesting shelving legs, I've been arguing for legs since 2015, legs, then in a couple of years full on ecosystem planets, not SRV through zoos / theme parks in space, has long been a mantra of mine on here. I also find your postulation that to add something else to this game, the developers will need to remove something else? VR has been in cobra engine since the days of oculus DK1, 2014, space legs, at least third person perambulation (think tomb raider), has been in the engine since 2005->2011 when FDev were working on "the outsider".

There is no reason to suggest its legs OR VR... unless you are wanting to incite trouble in the forum.

Agree with all points made.
It would be a real waste of resources to try to create an acceptable VR first person walking around mechanic. It will always be second rate.
Flying around in ships: perfect.
Driving around in SRV: perfect.
Walking around: meeeh and only meeeh...
I would except the fan made doom 3 bfg method or the from other sun's method. For EVA type gameplay then lone echo has that covered

Hold your horse, Special One! No, I don't want to take anyone's nice things. Legs aren't in the game, so even if the only possibility of having legs would be dropping VR, it would still not be taking nothing away.

I didn't suggest diddly squat about what you're thinking, my response was to Iskariot's post.

Again, were did I say something had to be removed? What is not there cannot be removed. What I said was if the only possibility of having legs would mean that legs would not support VR then tough cookies, and stand by waht I said. If we were to be forced to choose between legs without VR, or no legs at all, then legs without VR would be. Obviously that if legs can work with VR then there is no reason not to include VR.

Boots sold singly, instead of in pairs.
what if they come in packs of single shoes, like this gorgeous right sided military sand pack
