Worked for me too, but that was over a year ago.
The Gutamaya Corsair, due soon for Arx, may be good, more stuffz than a Python but still medium pad.
Where they fit the cargo bays is anybody’s guess.
I just checked Cupisii and Gliese 3897 B to verify if it's still any fun in doing NPC piracy there. Well, while ships with refineries keep spawning, they never contain LTDs only. Most of their cargo is worthless haematite. 
Seems the only fun left are elite courier ships.

I actually got lucky at Gliese 3897 B a couple of weeks ago with a T9 that had just over 200t of LTDs. That was after about a dozen ships with refineries that were carrying the random stuff.I just checked Cupisii and Gliese 3897 B to verify if it's still any fun in doing NPC piracy there. All in all I spent about 40 mins waiting for the right ship, 10 mins further to stop it and start hatch breaking, followed by at least half an hour of (very boring) hatch breaking and collecting.
