Yes.
You want to buy all cabin types, aside from luxury, if passenger missions are something you want to do regularly. This way, when you visit the passenger lounge, you can swap cabins from storage around to tailor the ship configuration to whichever cabins are needed to complete the missions you want to fly. And drop the ones not needed to maximize jump. So have a selection of economy, business and first class to give your ship flexibility for the transport role.
