Yes, I found roids don't go orange when nearby. Mind you, hasn't it always been like that?

Out of interest - a question to all the great folk who post on this thread - how do you find yields of tritium when laser mining?

Personally, I think you get too few 'roids and low percentages making refuelling carriers through mining somewhat laborious. Yes, I know it's my pet gripe and I should quit banging on about it
Trying to get how you feel about it as I see few other people griping so I suspect I'm in a minority group.

The best prospector scan I saw was at 13% tritium, mostly 3-7% , again not a Tritium hotspot.Out of interest - a question to all the great folk who post on this thread - how do you find yields of tritium when laser mining?

And I have the impression that like other aspects of the game evolving around your actions, things improve over time.
So, staying in the same area/hotspot may find higher yields. All though chances are that this may just be statistics at work...?
To be fair to the hapless apprentoid it is a bit difficult to work out which is the pointy bit on some ship designs and that is before you add in raider packs.
Now I have a Sting song running in the back of my mind.
Tried out the old laptop, that does not have the processing legs to do Odyssey legs, as Fleet Carrier Ops command.
Uncle Yuri has to stay onboard, as the fpsec rate is still very low. Works quite ok though. Here is Sergi in the same instance...two laptops different email address commanders.

I'm stuck.
Trying to list of from Dav's, two orange sidewinders. Now I'm in space and the ship is completely unresponsive. Nav panels etc. work but no ship control like accelerate, pitch... tried a reboot. Reboot doesn't activate.
Annoyingly, I've sent my carrier on but can't fly to it. Good job I have a fuel scoop.

Exit the game, close the laumcher, start again. That should establish a new connection to the game server. Turning it off and on again really does solve a lot of computing issues, but you need to reboot more than just your ship.
Tried shutting down the game, exiting the launcher, rebooting the PC, nothing.
Interestingly, it shows my thrusters as inactive and I can't reactivate them nor raise my landing gear, shoot lasers, or move the ship.
EDIT Stuck fast. Support ticket raised.

Just arrived at Explorer's Anchorage, sold about a third of a billion credits worth of exploration data. Heading for Sag A* next (it'll be my second visit) then heading back to the bubble via the Canonn Challenge route.
These newer paints hold up way better than the old ones. I haven't docked since Colonia and I've spent a lot of time in supercruise mapping ELWs, WWs, etc yet there's nowhere near as much wear and tear on the paintwork as I expected.

I gave up on mining Tritium. It’s more time efficient to mine other stuff that is worth more, and then use the proceeds to buy Tritium. After solving the stuck in space anomaly (with help!), I travelled to The Bug Killer for some tasty G5 encoded. That done, I took off. What I failed to notice was the instectoid scum suddenly appear.
