Newcomer / Intro What are you up to?

Well, this is promising. Need to go to Sainsbury to stock up on vindaloo* makings, was a bit concerned there might be bog roll riots again.

Tanya's gone back to Robigo, causing havoc in open. Sigh.
I've told her, attacking Commanders in open while carrying rich tourists is a bad idea.
What can I say, she's a wrong 'un.

Festive vindaloo.*

**Has sprouts in it.
Just goes to show no matter how far from your taste food is someone can come up with a way of making it worse.

Sprout vindaloo? Sprout? Sprouts, in a vindaloo? Vindaloo'd sprouts... dear, dear - even if you were in tier one, I'd avoid your house! Tch. Talk aboiut greenhouse gases and holes in the ozone layer...

My wife (nut roast is her Christmas lunch of choice) just said 'that sounds delicious!'.

Wow... surprised I managed to find a parking space...

Waitrose Hub was experiencing heavy traffic. We had to hyperspace jump away as the wait time for a pad was insane and CMDR's were backing up fast. Tomorrow, and for the forseeable, we'll be avoiding inhabited areas.

When we return, we hope systems are not in a famine state and investment soon arrives.
I have been using the mission boards, the last delivery mission arrived on the 20th, the next is due on the 27th with a follow up on the 4th.

According to GalContinentNet, you're more in danger of an outbreak state, competing with a lockdown.

Stoopid Sainsbury, messing with my recipe, swapping stock for silly Xmas stuff! The carrots have gone all big, none of my favourite potatoes, last packet of bird eye chillis.
Also, the sprouts were not satisfactory, big Brussels bruisers, no ta.

Car park packed*, store very busy, however staff were exceptionally well organised. I was in and out in fifteen minutes.

*I was on the two wheeled iron horse so meh. 🤷‍♀️
Unfortunately raining. Not proper rain, that drizzly rain that gets you all wet.🌧

Strange how stores can differ so much in the same chain.

Ours had plenty of small, juicy sprouts. No birds eye chillis (175k SHU) at all - never had them - but loads of Scotch Bonnets (350k - 450k SHU). Of course, these are far removed from the superhots like the Trindiad Moruga Scorpions (2m SHU), the Carolina Reaper (2.2m SHU) or the Chocolate Bhutlah - not officially rated but claimed to be the hottest ever.

If you want heat but are chilli challenged at Sainsburys, in the hot sauce section there is a Nando's Peri Peri sauce subtitled "Vusa" which, as far as my taste buds are concerned, is just heat. Also, in the area near the pickled onions, there is a jar of "mixed hot chillis" which are quite flavoursome although a little briny and not that hot.

Got stuck in a queue at the Waitrose Hub, they didn't have much in stock, so we FS'd to Tesco Dock.

Yeah, I think getting in early is key. We got up at 5:45 and were in M&S at 7:00. In the AM! Still, it paid off.

Aaaaanyway... it seems Shin Dez offers limited combat missions - they always appear to be wing ones or wetwork where you need to kill innocents which goes against the grain for me - so I'm heading to the local hazres in the system to exercise my gunmanship. Won't do much for combat ranking though...

I felt like doing some low-key trading today.

Prices for Gold and Palladium looked amazing, but I knew the low-selling stations would be crowded with carriers and I didn't want to fuss with connection issues.

So I chose Bauxite instead, not nearly as profitable but obscure enough that I could trade in peace :)

I got to enjoy my Python for a bit, and I was making 3.4 million per run. There was a time when I would have thought that spectacular. Today I found it sufficient :p

Can anyone remember the system that was part of the passenger exploit way back when?
I want to check it out, see if anything has changed since this rebalanced stuff.
Smeaton Orbital or something?

Edit:Smeaton Dock, Hr 8133. Distance 239,000 Ls. Have to check it later.

Right, I'll put the mouse here so I don't lose it when I am drunk.
Several hours later...
Where's the bloody mouse?
It's fine, I've got a touch pad on my alt keyboard.
I've deleted that keyboard because of the bingely-bongely stuff.
