Well you could nip over to legacy for a few circuits in daylight if you wanted.I miss the "old" Dav's. Was much nicer with the mouintain vew and in daylight.
I'm not great at the CZs either but usually manage to kill a few and my team often wins quite a few (although sometimes you can get more credits from battles your team has lost, if you've managed to slaughter a whole bunch of enemies in the meantime.)OK, this shotgun is pretty effective.
It's coupled with, on both my Dom CZ loadouts with an Aphelion (improved hip, range, stab, mag size) and a Zenith (stowed reload, headshot, mag size, stab).
The two suits differ only in night vision v. extra ammo cap. The former is for night manoeuvres, the latter for light side pewpew. The other suit mods are shield regen, battery cap and damage resist.
I'm not saying any of the above is the meta - I don't what is and, to be honest, not that bothered - but it's working for me. The last high CZ just now saw me not die once (but it got damn close a few times!) and an 8.8mCR bond payout. Which was nice.
Aaaanyway. As I've said before, I'm a wet lettuce when it comes to combat so I had to get all those upgrades and mods before I coiuld even begin to do this stuff. My skillz have improved but not that much. I suppose one aim would be do go into battle with an un-upgraded Art with no mods, and just a G1, unmodded P-15. Now that would be hard-man
Now then, to break stuff up a bit, I may do the Dav's thng for a bit. Just because nostalgia.

The most I've managed to earn after a battle in a high CZ is 5 million odd a couple of times. Usually it's around the 3,500,000 mark. My main weapon and the one I use more than any other is the Aphelion, which is G3 with no mods. Sometimes I use another different one (forgot its name) after that when I've taken shields down which is also G3 and that seems to be pretty effective. I'm getting the hang of using the various grenades as well, especially bouncing the frag ones off walls and whatnot.
My main problem though is that my shields don't last any longer than a few seconds and I'm forever having to duck behind cover because my shields have gone down. I've never seen anything higher than G3 (plus maybe an engineering mod) in that Caring and Sharing thread, so I really need to start pinching stuff out of settlements etc so I can get my weapons and suit upgraded to G5 with as many good mods as possible. I'll do that tutorial about raiding settlements again sometime before I try that one...

Dav's Hope. It's an old skool abandoned settlement at Hyades Sector DR-V c2-23 a5Uhhmm...relative forum-newb questiuonforgive my ignorance, but what is a "Dav"? :]
Couldn't find anything from Odyssey, so here's what was available in 3.0:Uhhmm...relative forum-newb questiuonforgive my ignorance, but what is a "Dav"? :]
That's not good. I feel like it is a good idea for me to keep that habit of hunting down the mats I set loose before targeting the next...Active geysers can blast them completely out of range, but i’ve noticed a few just disappear recently after rolling a few metres out of SRV scanner range too… and i did look around the area for them - the targets were gone.
From what I've heard, they turned off the light, too.AFAIK at least the coordinates have changed in Ody.
I just noticed that Dav's is not that far away from where I'm about...Dav's Hope. It's an old skool abandoned settlement at Hyades Sector DR-V c2-23 a5
It has loads of g1 to g4 manufactured mats just lying around for scoopage. When you relog, they respawn and are nearly always different.
Supermarket challenge.

If so, they should have "impatiens" or "noli tangere" in their name....may have also discovered a reason for the exploding magnesium / iron etc. deposits - perhaps they are *reproducing?
hahaI know there's a galactic war on and all that ... but I'm really happy about my cabbages doing so well.

This on-foot CZ should have ended by now. My team has only two soldiers left - ie the NPC up against the door and me closest to the camera. The enemy faction has about 200 out there but this door is the only way into this building and my NPC colleague seems to be stopping it from opening. (Bug? Guess so...) Definitely no other doors - all there is is a load of glass tanks with biological stuff in them as it's a horticultural centre or something.

Anyway, I was just about to go and cook some dinner and see if it's still the same after that, when my vital signs or something got depleted and as my team had no more reinforcements, as it was just the two of us I was able to hit the "retreat from combat zone" button to finally end it all.![]()
I didn't think of overloading the door, but then until I revisit that tutorial where you pinch stuff from a settlement, then have to shoot the soldiers at the end I'd forgotten about that option. I don't think I had a cutter with me anyway. The NPC on your side locked you in?...did you try overloading the door?
...also, iirc you were out this way a while ago with your carrier - Heart & Soul Nebulae - did you also see the "constellation" of bright stars towards the RHS of this pic - any idea what it is?

That's a very nice screenshot by the way, but I haven't been to Elysian Shore in my carrier yet - although I did go there before I bought the carrier in my Asp X, but don't remember seeing those stars.
Be thankful they haven’t borrowed Larry Niven’s Stage Trees, though as we only encounter them on habitable worlds maybe they will show up later.Aha! thanks for that :]
Unfortunately can't say the same...

And i used to think I had noisy neighbours upstairs... ;p
*FDev - yw, really :]
I haven't been out there, yet, But I have seen this star cluster on quite a few pictures....also, iirc you were out this way a while ago with your carrier - Heart & Soul Nebulae - did you also see the "constellation" of bright stars towards the RHS of this pic - any idea what it is?
