Aye, I did see those in the Wiki for this region before I left the Bubble and thought about going there. In fact, I bought a Research Limpet Controller before I left the bubble specifically for that. Only trouble is it's 6,000-odd LY from where I am right now and right out of my way, as I'm pretty much ready to head back to the bubble before I run out of Tritium, after I've finished exploring a few local systems in the Asp X around where my carrier is now.
However, I've targeted Eorgh Hypa RR-U c19-0 as a waypoint for my carrier on the way back, as it shows in the Codex for Kepler's Crest region as having Gyre Pods. (No Gyre trees though.) I don't have a Limpet Research thingy on the Asp X as no room for one, but might fit the one in my outfitting temporarily to my Anaconda, just to give that ship a bit of a run out when I get there.
As I mentioned earlier, this trip was an experiment to see how far I could get with only a total of 11,500 tons of Tritium in the hold and depot to see how the gradually improving fuel consumption as it's being used up might benefit the range of my carrier.
Wow, that’s quite a journey! i wonder what the official record for FC distance from Sol is …and whether or not you’ve just broken it?
…also quite intriguing reading about the inaccessible 1500 LY area of stars within the Xibalba region - how far is that gap? …just wondering if a carrier could cross it - with enough fuel to get back of course ;]
Saw this comment on the Gyre Tree fandom page (in amongst all the pop-up video windows & other screen cluttering junk ;p) - looks like Gyre Pods & Trees are quite difficult to reach, wherever they are:

For the trees at Kepler's Crest, an engineered AspX with just over 61LY jump range should travel about two thirds east along that region's stellar arm, then turn back to plot a course south west to LYED ON-B D13-0. You shouldn't require any jumponium to reach that point, there's a faint 'bridge' between the main and far outer arms in the region that can be crossed.
From there, the route to the Gyre Tree system is:
LYED NN-B D13-0 (50% Jumponium) - 84.55LY
LYED IH-D D12-0 (100% Jumponium) - 116.06LY
LYED EB-F D11-0 (25% Jumponium) - 76.65LY (might need 50% if you're not far enough over 60LY).
LYED AV-G D10-0 (50% Jumponium) - 87.36LY
LYED YJ-I D9-0 (50% Jumponium) - 91.4LY
Don't get too close to the pods at the ends of each spinning arm, I hear they spew caustic clouds. 600m away was perfectly safe.
…anyway, all bests with the epic return journey - send some more postcards along the way, especially those Gyre things! :]
