Just went back to the same CZ as earlier and it was much harder to win. I even had to claim a few checkpoints myself, just to even the score. Outrageous.
Oh yeah, I forgot about potential revisits for experimental effects. Inara says they're both exactly the same but Palin is the logical choice really.Professor Palin is quite useful, getting your thrusters up to level 5.
Chloe Sedesi offers the same upgrades, i have unlocked her, but have yet to visit her.
You may need to revisit engineers to get the experimental effects.
CTD?Didn't scan the last one, yet, as it took me three attempts to get down to the surface without a CTD - a sign that I should take a break.
I've also found the swapping between weapons to be a little clumsy compared to something like Hunt Showdown. Sometimes I'll mousewheel and get the same weapon. It made me go with plasma based weapons rather than thermal and kenetic. That way I'm not standing there screwing around while someone's blasting me.As for me about pedestrian gear, I tried mixing laser and kinetic in the beginning, until I had a Tormentor G3 out of curiosity. Now this one is my favorite, and once you give it both silencers, you can do every stealth/assassination missions with only the Torm and your normal flight suit, really.
I didn't even realise I could scan from the SRV. >8[ Though I ended up doing what you suggested when we were talking about high temps. I just landed the ship, got out and scanned, then flew off looking for more.Depending on which base that was it could have been built by a CG I took part in back when the T9 hadn’t been buffed and there were no Guardian modules, long hauls from Maia and adjacent systems. Hard work and probably when I got my first first discoveries.
50k would be a reward for you finding your first example in the Codex and can also be gained by scanning from ship and SRV using the built in scanners. You will get the reward for taking the samples when you sell them at a Vista Genomics store in a base or Fleet Carrier you will potentially get an additional bonus of four times the reward.
Bacterium are generally worth 1,000.000 credits though there are some varieties that are worth more.
I've heard someone calling it by that name, but that isn't entirely right. Is that the Brave Sir Robin mod?
The original mod was called the speedster mod, increasing your run speed to a level that it would look like you were at several places at once.I think that depends on which way round you install it.
Yeah, had something similar happen recently, too.

Crash To Desktop. The game stops working and next thing you see is your desktop waving at you awkwardly...CTD?
That million comes from Vista Genomics, found in the concourse of larger stations and some assorted fleet carriers. And thanks. I'm not sure how you went from 50k to one million though.
Oh nice. I better not get myself melted again.Crash To Desktop. The game stops working and next thing you see is your desktop waving at you awkwardly...

The 50k you find mentioned in your left panel are just a little bonus for finding the bio on that planet.
You've not "finished" the game until you've been to Salome's Reach beyond Beagle Point, into the Abyss for Far Oasis, Hidden Abyssinial Treasures and of course Sag A*
Nice!
Not really. I did visit Rho Cancri & 3 Geminorum on that trip.Nice!
You seem to have explored a decent route to the "south". Find anything remarkable down there?
I take it that you noticed what kind of rock that was? I spent several minutes trying to balance my SRV on top (cool photo op), but they were both uncooperative.Yeah, had something similar happen recently, too.
They break through the top layer of the ground when you are close. Which explains their shape.
I have been lucky so far that it only happened to me when I was driving slowly and was able to stop before crashing into them.
I don't want to think about what would happen if you scoot across one of those at high speeds on a low gravity world...
Maybe if you approached it from the other side, it would have worked better...I take it that you noticed what kind of rock that was? I spent several minutes trying to balance my SRV on top (cool photo op), but they were both uncooperative.
I thought maybe it attacked you!I take it that you noticed what kind of rock that was? I spent several minutes trying to balance my SRV on top (cool photo op), but they were both uncooperative.
Yeah, you got them trained well.I thought maybe it attacked you!
