I just had my most lucrative mining experience, tbh, if I had the stomach for more I could have earned more but boy do I find it dull. It's nice at the point of selling but the activity itself, by God's beard! I have no idea how people do that for hours on end.

I think what Para meant was something along the lines: "Blame yourself first before you blame the game". The game works on hundreds of thousands of PCs, so it's safe to assume that if it doesn't on one particular PC, it may be a local problem, rather than a global one.

On a side note, the list of censored words on this forum really hurts my writing style and forces me into quick edits more often than I'd like. Although I suppose it'll keep me out of further trouble with the mods. I've already been savagely beaten up in PM's by Arguendo.

Honestly, I talk like a roofer IRL, too, no ill-intention, it's just how I express fondness, but I learned to moderate myself, here. Frontier makes games for all kinds of people from all kinds of age brackets, so you never know who's reading your posts. I think it made me grow as a person and enriched my vocabulary.

My heat went to 325% as I fled, and I had to repair the hull on the fly to survive. That'll teach me

I do like the screenshot though. I was collecting Selenium from Crystalline Fragments.

Does the AFM work in the background or do you have to completely shut down your ship first? Every time I rebooted the same NPC pirates kept attacking me.

AFMUnits just shut down the module they are working on which is why they can't fix the power pack and it is a bad idea to use them on thrusters or FSD while in cruise.
The Reboot/Repair option on the ship tab in the right hand window shuts down everything at once for what seems like an eternity.

But was the AFM working in the background before I took the extreme option? That's what I was wondering.
