Newcomer / Intro What are you up to?

You know you have played to much ED, when blue Danube plays on the radio as you pull into the driveway. And you panic cause the view port is not rotating, and wonder if you installed autodock computer, then grab the handbrake to lower the landing gear.... 🙄🍺🍺
You know you have played too much ED, when you go to bed and hear it as you try to go to sleep and the bed is rotating.

Currently...
I started out from Ngurii and decided to plot a route to Sol, before heading back to Kuhn. I tried to limit my jump range using the jump calulator thing, but I've only got 24T cargo space, which means I can only affect the jump range down to about 32LY. I did it anyway and, wierdly, I jump from red dwarf [no planets], to M class [no planets] to red dwarf [no planets]. 143LY in six jumps. Nada!
I arrived a Sol, but it's nothing to write home about.

Could we suggest other music for station landings?
Perhaps.. Faure's Pavane or Prokofiev's Lt Kijé or The Prodigy's Firestarter or Warpigs.

Well, Tanya's maxed out the G5s at Robigo, back to the bubble for more shenanigans.
Noticed that the Robigo runs don't seem to pay out as well materials wise.
Could be BGS related I suppose, don't know much about that.

Was thinking of buying a Dropship and sticking with it as long as possible (but not for exploration!).

Here's a dark and moody shot for no particular reason other than I took it. :)

You know when you've played too much ED when you know today is the day you have to get the Christmas food in so you want to fly the T9 to the shops but you want to take your Corvette for protection against the baying mob.

You also start a CG to help with food transport from the port of Dover.

I was at ASDA at 7.30 this morning for the booz crooz. Shelves were full, car park was half empty, aisles had a few people milling around but no noobs crushed my ankles with their trolleys.
It was so pleasant I might go again tomorrow for the veg.

Iron Maiden - Coming Home

"Coming home, far away
As the vapour trails alight
Where I've been tonight
You know I will not stay
Curving on the edge of daylight
'Til it slips into the void
Waited in the long night dreaming
'Til the Sun is born again
Stretch the fingers of my hand
Cover countries with my span
Just a lonely satellite
A speck of dust in cosmic sand"

Well, this is promising. Need to go to Sainsbury to stock up on vindaloo* makings, was a bit concerned there might be bog roll riots again.

Tanya's gone back to Robigo, causing havoc in open. Sigh.
I've told her, attacking Commanders in open while carrying rich tourists is a bad idea.
What can I say, she's a wrong 'un.

Festive vindaloo.*

**Has sprouts in it.

Back from the "Feed Mr. and Mrs. Tyres CG" which was completed with ease. Supply was high and demand low at this current time.

However, Sainsbury's Dock was fast running out of turkey and we were informed that what was in the hold was it i.e. no more today or tomorrow . We actually got ours from M&S Orbital so could avoid the potential pirate incursion.

I have been given a mission to scout out the Waitrose Hub, but I have a feeling it be one of those missions that seem to get longer as it goes on.

Waitrose Hub was experiencing heavy traffic. We had to hyperspace jump away as the wait time for a pad was insane and CMDR's were backing up fast. Tomorrow, and for the forseeable, we'll be avoiding inhabited areas.

When we return, we hope systems are not in a famine state and investment soon arrives.

Sprout vindaloo? Sprout? Sprouts, in a vindaloo? Vindaloo'd sprouts... dear, dear - even if you were in tier one, I'd avoid your house! Tch. Talk aboiut greenhouse gases and holes in the ozone layer...

One of the things I do is take mission rewards which have commodities used for tech broker unlocks, then just stash them on the Carrier. Put them on the market at %1000 mark up. Stuff for Guardian weapons always goes fast. Oh, and engineer unlocks. Shame we can't trade rares.
Then there was the occupied escape pod debacle. I accidentally put 500 on the market at full price (Can't remember £). They went in about eight hours.
And Tritium. I always put my Tritium reserves on the market, I don't sell many, but some fools still occasionally buy it.

I think the overall idea is everything is for sale!
Now I look like a complete idiot, but you can buy occupied escape pods from Carriers??? That's the one engineer I still need to unlock.
