I'm off out to the Crab and Jellyfish Nebulae now, via the Hyades, Pliedes and California Nebula, to get that sweet, sweet Explorer Elite rating. Almost finished Pathfinder atm, hope to reach next rank by the time I hit the California Nebula.

To Raxxla, and beyoooooooooooooond!

...Not much to report this week.

Tried some bounty hunting in the vulture - ditched the G5 PA's after the first trip.
They don't work for me - Probably an age thing :D
Switched out to un-engineered Beam lasers, and much better results. Getting plenty of bounty.

Decided to build up credit, as I haven't been focusing on them recently and was down to ~140 Mil so converted the python from mining to passenger runs
Now doing the Robigo grind - plenty of credits coming in.

Oh, and got Petty Officer with Federation - I can't remember why I started that route - An age thing again :)

I actually think I'm getting to the point in life where I could organise my own surprise party :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

Clearly observing the Thargoid activity.

And there sure is a lot of it - disregard that 'no sign of visitors' - Non Human Signal Sources everywhere around the Pleiades!

Mostly the scout type, from the few instances I've noped out of (unarmed, you see!).

Managed to get safely docked at Artemis Lodge in Caelano, where I got a nice little morale booster:

Only he says, having just looked it up - Ranger is about 12% of the way to Elite...

thanks, i found 1 x 50 million job, unfortune it was 2 small stations to delivery too. and 3850t of stuff in a krait mk2 is asking for a long winded journey. Especially at 64t per trip.

currently do 2 transport jobs stacked, Fish and food aided. together around 8 million in a t7 at 268t per trip out of 4825 foodaid and 1050 of fish.

also why is jaques moving when your on approach.

You need a T9 or a Cutter. I found a few missions where you can buy Bert from a same system L pad surface base for delivery to Jacques while I was there. But if you are in a smaller ship, not worth it.

I have put things together on the long stored Vulture today.

Accidentally put a fixed tv beam on it (thanks to the crap fitting UI...), it turned out not too bad. I have to be very careful picking target then, can't fight small sh_ts, not to mention those SLFs. But for large targets, its LOTS OF FUN~! I wanna try dual efficient PAs.

Attempted to get free ride on this conda, but scb was so annoying... waited long enough and finished her with 3 cute purple bubbles. pheeewww

I dismissed and recalled, but the landing site was iffy, and the SRV got proper wedged under the ship.

Ended up recovering to orbit by opening up in vanilla ED.

Edit: First attempt failed. Lets see that again.
Edit2: No, that failed too. Try again...
Edit3: Still no. Bah.
Edit4 Ok, that'll have to do! If anyone knows how to embed video in a post, please clue me in!
