Biologicals from most recent planet.Yeah. That doubling of the XP every level is a real gut punch, isn't it?
The XP I have right now on Taxonomist would take you all the way from new player starting at zero to Cataloguer. It's mind boggling.
The other issue is that the only really valuable biologic I've ever come across is Stratum. It can run in the mid 800 thousands. I've never come across anything else even close.
I can't imagine not having a keyboard
I wish you could refurbish degraded power regulators
The concept may be valid for other commanders, but I have no luck in finding a spot on my keyboard that would not require some contortion of my fingers. Might be that a neglected tendosynovitis which every once in a while comes back to bite me plays a role in this issue.I was more thinking about your comment that you can't/don't want to fly your ship via the arrow keys. You can map the flight/thrust controls to anywhere on the keyboard (ok, anywhere that sends a code to the PC; shift or ctrl only probably would not work). I admit, though, that a keyboard remap is a lot of work, since just when you're selecting the last key of your careful layout, you'll get a popup saying "key ... is already used for .... Are you sure you want to change that?".
Here is one that might work: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?l=german&id=478686362
Did you map the planet/moon with a Detailed Surface Scanner, before you landed?I couldn't even find the lava spouts, never mind the Crystalline that supposedly has the arsenic and other mats
Well congrats in advance thenWell, I have plotted a course for Agartha to get my Fleet Carrier as I now have enough credits to get it, outfit it and have a few hundred million left over.
I'll be exploring along the way, so I might not make it today, but will tomorrow I'm pretty sure.
If you're in a rush, the neutron plotter cuts a 72 jump journey back to the bubble down to 56 jumps plus diversions for fuel. That is assuming your ship's jump range is around 70ly. If I remember correctly your Phantom is a bit over that.Well, I have plotted a course for Agartha to get my Fleet Carrier as I now have enough credits to get it, outfit it and have a few hundred million left over.

For the last 10 days of my expedition I've decided to seek good photo opportunities like the above and push up my exploration rank toward Elite III. I doubt I'll make Elite III, but we'll see. I am visiting as many F, A and K class stars in my area as I can find and already found two WWs and a previously discovered but unmapped ELW.Found a ringed waterworld, rather striking and worth a nice price for the scan.

Discovered a ringed landable, just over 2Gs. I went down to take a look. It was rather unique.

I did. If I'd checked out other spots indicated I might well have found some lava spouts and possible arsenic sources elsewhere, but instead I flew away in a huff....Did you map the planet/moon with a Detailed Surface Scanner, before you landed?
This would give you some selectable Points Of Interest, which makes it quite a lot easier to find those places...
I'm in no particular rush. Figured it would take a day or two to get there depending on how much I discover along the way.If you're in a rush, the neutron plotter cuts a 72 jump journey back to the bubble down to 56 jumps plus diversions for fuel. Ah, ok thanks. I might give that a try. I have successfully found a few things with prospecting in Odyssey when I've been out on exploring expeditions, but much of the time it's like trying to find a needle in a haystack.I do my material gathering in Horizons (that's the 3.8 version btw) - Oddity really mucked-up gathering raw mats and Dav's Hope is "hopeless" in EDO for example.
Gotta have AFMU's for Nutron jumping, it would be foolish otherwise. Hey Gomez, you'll have to let me hitch a ride with you, maybe back to Colonia, that's my home base at Jaques Station, maybe I could pitch in some moola for Tritium (all contingent when I get back to the bubble). If you're in a rush, the neutron plotter cuts a 72 jump journey back to the bubble down to 56 jumps plus diversions for fuel. I've never been there. Had no plans on going anytime soon.hitch a ride with you, maybe back to Colonia
I won't be back to the bubble for a while, I'm currently circumnavigating the galaxy. If you're going halfway, whatever, never rode on a carrier while under way FSD jumping.I've never been there. Had no plans on going anytime soon.
You're free to ride anywhere I'm going though. That goes for all of you. Thanks for all the help over these last 6 months that got me to this point.
LHS 417 9 E A Geo Sources 18, 19, 21, 23, 25 all have lots of Selenium, Yttrium, Mercury & Arsenic plus lots of lower grade stuff. No joy at Upsilon Thingymebob I'm afraid. I couldn't even find the lava spouts, never mind the Crystalline that supposedly has the arsenic and other mats. The tourist beacon is still there but not a lot for them to see now by the look of it.
There were quite a few fragments lying around though so I suspect this place was completely prospected out years ago by other commanders, especially as it was mentioned on Youtube so I think I'll go back to a raw mat trader. View attachment 328033
