I surely will not argue about that, Ashnak.Hi Timber.
My name is Ashnak, and I don't have a fleet carrier. If anyone wants to argue about that, tell me a place and a time. I'll bring the Orc hordes.
My other name is Azzie Elbub. I do not have a bar on my fleet carrier - they never manage to keep the ichor at an appropriate drinking temperature, and I keep on running out of barkeepers.
Ooooh, I just found a nice little tactic in a CZ which I never knew about. Use the scope on the gun (regardless of whether or not you have the mod) - or is called ADS? - for greater accuracy. Well I never...
That goes beyond concourse bar.It occurs to me I do have 28t of Centauri Mega Gin and 68t of Hutton Orbital Mugs to drink it out of aboard.
I wonder if that counts... at least until I start delivering these to local stations to maybe win a real life Hutton Mug.
Hangar party! You bring the beer and I'll see if those purple-haired ladies from "Moonbase" can make it.That goes beyond concourse bar.
That's a full blow hangar party.
That stands for "Aim Down Sights" in most FPS games, and I expect it does here as well. If you ADS then yeah, you get more accuracy. It really tightens up the grouping on the shotgun, too, which means you can take people out at a fair range. I use it on occasion for that reason.
Hmm. I really must head over to my go-to spot and see if everything is still as it was ...I had an interesting morning. I decided to drag out an old mining map that I used a few times in the past. I haven't used it since before Odyssey launched though, because following a map while mining isn't much fun. Of course, it's not intended to be fun, it's intended to be efficient, which it is (because you only prospect and mine very high value asteroids and don't waste time searching for them).
We've been talking about how hotspots don't seem to contain what they should recently, so I was curious if this old map would still work, or whether I'd find that all the formerly high value asteroids were now gone.
They were all still there, in exactly the same spots, with exactly the same percentages. Like this one:

I followed the map for a while and everything was in place as before.
Once I got bored following the map (it's very tedious to me) I switched to my normal random prospecting, to see how I'd fare.
It went very well. I found lots of rocks with over 40%, a couple over 50%, and one over 60%. So not as high as in the map, but still very nice.
The location I was mining is in Col 285 Sector KM-V d2-106, Planet 5 Ring A. There is a double-platinum hotspot in the inner ring. The system is clogged with carriers, because this is a well-known hotspot.
Anyway, whatever's been going on with hotspots lately, it hasn't affected this one.
Of course I can only say that it was working, for me, today.
I was kind of hoping to prove there was a problem, so I could do a bug report, but everything seemed normal in this hotspot. I filled my hold with Platinum and now I'm off to sell it.
I take it you are enjoying the FDL!
