What did you do in Planet Zoo today?

I’m sorry you’ve had this happen too! I hope that a patch update will fix it eventually or I’ll be sad. If it wasn’t that particular zoo it wouldn’t bother me as much, but it’s been my main zoo I’ve worked on since the summer.

will just have to wait and hope. I’ve left other zoo/ to the side before, so if it’s even a few months I’ll be alright. I just hope I haven’t lost it completely
Yes I'm sorry you have this problem too! But maybe after that frontier will check it and it will be fixed. Because one of the most annoying and disappointing problems is crashing, tauren and stelvio are projects I enjoy building so much but at some point it just starts crashing and it also slowly gets worse because we really invest in zoos and then it starts crashing after such hard work it There really is nothing worse than that, I so hope it will be fixed and then you and I and everyone who has the problem will be able to play normal 💚

Nope, I have actually not installed any mods since a few major updates back - and this was in franchise so it wouldn't be possible regardless. But it was a good thought - I wish that was the issue!
Hope there will be a Solution soon. Sometimes the Game is crashing for weird Reasons. Already had 2 bugged Enclosures that made the Game crash. My Flamingo Enclosure during the Beta and the Proboscis Monkey Enclosure in the Borneo House of my japanese Zoo. For that one it seems to be somehow tied to the Area the Enclosure is built in, because no Matter how often I removed and rebuilt the Area, it still always crashed when I've added Animals. But maybe I'll just save the Entrance Building and the Big Cat House and completely restart that Zoo (don't want to accidentally build a new Enclosure there).
Maybe the Update somehow bugged one of your Enclosures and that's the Reason why you can't play

Worked on a seal enclosure by the penguins. The idea is that it is an older corner of the zoo that is inspired by the Hagenbeck panorama style of design but on a small scale. As it is quite old it will be redeveloped in the near future.

In terms of building, I am struggling to get the water level right and the traversable area is a bit fiddly too.

That's possible. The only major work I've done in the zoo was last week, putting in the raised Asian otter habitat. It was tricky to do with pathing and water, so I'm wondering if that somehow did not mesh well with the update. It did appear to save normally then, but updates can change things. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that at some point I'll be able to open it again. I'm not giving up hope on this zoo!

Yesterday I made a small lemur island. It wasn't on my original plans at this stage at all but I was suddenly inspired.

In hidsight I really wish I'd pulled the terrain up on the island itself, but oh well, it's fine how it is.

I also remembered that I said I'd share a picture of the custom fence I made. It's not super flashy but I'm really happy with it.

This morning I finally did my restaurant/crane habitat. The restaurant isn't very flashy but it's the first one I've made so, meh. I kind of like the crane habitat though; a nice blend of natural and artificial.

My next tasks are to be do some landscaping which has been neglected, and then build a small Amphibian House, and I also think I'm going to put lynxes in a pair of small habitats over near my meerkats (speaking of which, I now have like 13 meerkats so the aardvarks might need a new home soon...).

I am grateful therefore that they will be deemed clean and suitable for exhibiting:) I'm going for that steaming Crystal Springs look - so toilet cleaner necessary

Is that the actual feeder in the water? I didn't think that was possible . . . ?
I have a really good blue Color for the Water in my Marine Park. I would send you the Color Code but my Computer still isn't working (wanted to try if Fallout 3 works with my damaged Graphics Card. The Sims 1 works, so it's worth a Try. But I didn't even get to install it because now the Power Supply Unit is revolting even more than usual. Definitely never going to buy anything from Seasonic again 🙄)

Normally sinking it into the Ground would flatten the Terrain, but the Terrain can't be changed by Objects if there's Water already😉

Shame about the PC - bummer - Cool water tip - and hope the computer stuff gets sorted - nothing worse - need Planet Zoo calm and beauty to zen out and restore. Got inspired by the brilliant Leaf to try in game camera filters - interesting and will be playing more to create magnificence to dazzle my soul :)💻🖥️🖱️💽 (computer emoji's for good luck and have made the sky toilet clean colour for you, as an extra bonus)

Could take some Time due to financial Problems but one Thing is clear. That Power Supply Unit needs to go. It stressed me for the last Time. Even more important now to me than replacing the Graphics Card. Was only able to use my Computer for approximately 5 Seconds and it made a weird Noise when it crashed, which makes me fear that another Part might be broken now. Sadly I'll first need to find a Way to get my Health Insurance financed (only have a small Job, my Boss can only pay me for the Days on which I'm actually working and I'm getting extremely exhausted really quick for some Reason since a While). Until then I'll just be a Mobile Gamer I guess🤷🏻‍♂️ Just wish Mobile Games would be more entertaining and that my Animals in the Mobile Port of Wildlife Park wouldn't escape all the Time for mysterious Reasons

The Crane Chicks are so cute🙂
Really hope that I can buy and play the Pack relatively soon because I need them for when I rebuild my japanese Zoo 🗾
Finally a new native Species for it. They will be right at the Entrance next to the Japanese Macaques. Water Buffalos will probably also find their Way into a Farm Area. Wild Water Buffalos are extremely rare in Captivity, so it'll be just the Zoo thinking they are domesticated Buffalos and not knowing what rare Animals they actually got until a DNA Test gets performed on the Herd🐃
Not completely sure yet, but maybe I'll also try creating a Mountain (even though I'm not very good at it) for the Guests that wish for a more natural Experience. If I create it, they would be able to hike up a Mountain which is Home to Japanese Macaques (including Hot Springs) and Fallow Deer. Maybe the Zoo could even let People camp up there. We have those nice Tents from the Main Game Africa Theme after all

I did a bit of rework on the crane habitat, built an Amphibian House (which also includes the terrapins - not amphibians, but at least amphibious!), and added a white rhinoceros habitat.

The moat and river around the rhino habitat will look much better when it's got water in it, but I'm planning on using it for a few more species before that happens and I don't want to fill it in case I need to manage the terrain.

Aren't they just - the cranes are magical and the noises they make all over the Zoo is AWESOME - the game feels different with tree and the pack animals and wishing you can play very soon . . . I have no experience with buffalos and that's really interesting - and mountain sounds amazing - look forward to seeing it(y):)

Lovely idea for a restaurant - might have to steal it, and thanks for the great photos - the Zoo is going to be a beaut :) (y)
Don't you just love the cranes - they are so beautiful and their amazing sounds can be heard from all around the zoo - -it adds such an amazing vibe to the zoos.

Don't really know yet how exactly I'm going to design the Crane Enclosure but it'll probably have a traditional japanese Style. Maybe with Cherry Trees and that one Part from the Picnic Table Menu that I never use for the intended Purpose. As I've mentioned, I'm not sure yet about the Mountain because I'm very bad at creating them.
Maybe I'll also try to create a better Japanese Wolf Memorial. Built the Podest for the one in the current Zoo before Reward Statues were a Thing and the Statue was way smaller than I've expected, so it is looking a bit weird.

I've been playing on mute because I have to share my space too much, but I do absolutely adore the cranes, easily my favourite animal from the pack I think.
You could play on a low Sound Setting or use Headphones. If they are wireless they might scream ,,Battery Low!!!" sometimes, so always keep them charged to prevent your Ears from being assaulted🙃

I have to multitask too much to play with headphones - got to keep an eye on/ear out for the baby. That's okay though, I don't mind playing it silently. I sometimes turn the volume up but I haven't yet for the cranes.

Anyway, I've been playing a lot today, but the forum is acting up and won't let me share any pics. I think they're attached to the post but it won't load them properly.
