Put the first animal into my zoo at the sea, the flamingo with a trio of whistling ducks to keep them company.
Due to the very limited space i gave myself for this zoo the habitat looks very small, but its still within the care guidelines irl. I think it was one of Leafs recent videos where i got the idea of the flamingo mud hill nests from.
Also kinda fell in love with the concept of all weather walkways from my recent zoo visit so i will have them slithering through my zoo aswell

Looks really nice!
Especially for flamingos it's not a big deal at all living in a small enclosure, it seems like they even need small spaces. I've read the most successful breeders of flamingos are those with extremely large groups or very cramped habitats because only in these cases they feel save enough (remember they live in huuuuge groups with up to hundreds of thousands of specimens in nature where the individual flamingo can't move much unless the whole group moves). In too small groups or too large enclosure they apparently are easily stressed, so animal welfare wise too small groups or too large habitats are not good for these guys.
So, saying this, you should add 20 more flamingos to your habitat :p

Really love those nests.

I’m absolutely loving the species lineup of the Africa/Grasslands bundle. In general, I’m loving the packs way more than I thought I would. First thing I did with it was make this African Penguin habitat which I have dubbed Penguin Palace. It has deep water in the middle and a shallow ring that encircles the perimeter of the habitat, plus a 2-story aquatic faux rock shelter. I keep the population around 100.

Next up is the Meerkats.
