Thanks! The railing I like a lot as well. Too bad there is only 1 size and not a smaller one, making it a bit frustrating with corners sometimes...

Here some more WIP pictures from Colombiana. Special thanks to Doscal (climbing structure) and ZHSplays (inspiration for the butterfly hatchery).

For those interested, here is the current planned species list (14): Baird's tapir, boa constrictor, Brazilian wandering spider, capybara, cloudless sulphur, Colombian white-faced capuchin monkey, Cuvier's dwarf caiman, golden poison frog, Lehmann's poison frog, menelaus blue morpho, monarch, nine-banded armadillo, red-eyed tree frog, titan beetle

Picture from the entrance building, giving a view at the exhibit for capybara and also Colombian white-faced capuchin monkey I decided today. Because of the monkeys, a ditch with water was placed, which as a bonus can also be used by the capybara

The tree house is far from finished. I don't seem to get a good idea for the roofing

Unfortunately the path can't be used by guests, because I really would like to see the guests walking here in the background with all the foliage and as a bonus the tree house

Cuvier's dwarf caimans have their own exhibit. A more square part where the guests have the best view, followed by a river alongside the elevated path

Especially fun for the little visitors, a butterfly hatchery. The background is a screen, so still looking for a nice picture

Because I didn't like the big glass wall, I added temple pieces to the sloth exhibit, with a staff door in the window. But still there is a viewing option

So with dlc imminent, looked around at my zoos that will definitely be review I h new members.
I like to screenshot new habitats with a coming soon sign for said or implied animals.
Looked at my National park zoo. I have some spare habitats meant for future animals and had to make some adjustments. In my Everglades section I have a few habitats, I had an implied sea turtle habitat, I changed the water level to be suitable for flamingos. While we still don’t know what type of flamingo but I somehow I bet it’s American flamingo.

My Yellowstone section, I have a wolf habitat and one set aside for elk.
My unnamed Arctic section has a habitat I meant for musk ox.
Torn between which one will be converted to be suitable for bighorn sheep.

My Saguaro section has had a coyote habitat for a while now and is ready for them.

Looked at my SA zoo
Built a flamingo habitat in my wetland section. Preparing to build a Rhea habitat in a section that was designed with hopes of aviaries being added. My monkey habitat needs a redesign to accommodate the saki. Thinking of what else will be included in the dlc and where other habitats need to be made.

My primate zoo
My capuchin habitat is a bit big for the trope that I have, therefore sakis will be roommates with them.

My canid zoo
This zoo is known as Canid Castle. Using Arctic, twilight and European themes, this zoo is exclusive for canids. Each area is specifically named for both the canids it hosts and parts of a castle. Wolf keep, Dholes longhouse, fox commons etc. I had a thought of giving the coyotes a forge or blacksmith like habitat. My creativity took me to redesigning my fox area that could accommodate gray foxes or even bat eared foxes one day.

In the past days I managed to get some work done on the reptile section. While I copied the most important structures (viewing canopies and habitat backdrops) from the old file, I had to do some spatial shuffling to get things in place. Now the section is almost finished, and well connected to other parts of the zoo. Meanwhile, there is space in the middle for a backstage area.

What I worked on yesterday and today is the pathway down to the viewing area of the caimans and gharials, which are now on the same water level as the saltwater crocodiles that you can see from the platform. Going down you can also see part of the monorail that will eventually go around most of the park. There is a short way to the rest of the zoo if you want to skip the crocodiles and exit the reptile section.

The interior of the viewing area is largely the same as it was before.

On the other side, the path connects with the toilet building on the left side of the entrance. Past the toilet is another entrance to the crocodile viewing area, or straight to the remainder of the reptile section.

I hope to post full updates of the finished reptile area in my main thread soon.

I'm really happy about how this new rebuilt section of the zoo turned out, as it doesn't seem to separate from the rest of the zoo. I won't do an overview of the entire zoo again, but I will say that this expansion hasn't caused major lag or stuttering in the game file, so Kelbrook Zoo will continue to expand once all the refurbishments are done.

I'm still working on my Skunk habitat. Can anyone tell me where those bubbles are located in which guests can enter the habitat? I don't even know the name, so can not find anything in the help section...

Do you mean the domes? I think their in the faculties menu with the donation boxes. Just type in dome and they should show up 🙂 (make sure you're on the show all option when you do this. the entrance gate for the domes are in the barrier tab. I dont know if you know this already)
