What did you do in Planet Zoo today?

Good progression with the sun bear’s habitat!
I’m working on an island with 3 bear species, giant otters and giant anteaters.

I didn't do much over the week, because of work :/
Yesterday I had a bit time and cleared up my ovldata from the mods. I had some problems with crashes and loading issuses. My heart is now broken

Edit: Oh I forgot, that Sunbear Enclosure is soooooo beautiful!
Edit 2: Damn (its friday the 13th, and brain didn't work). Later on this day I will post Day 5 and tomorrow or on Sunday Day 6 :)

Started a new project yesterday and made some progress on the entrance area. It's gonna be a park that features mostly marine animals and other water loving creatures, because I love them and building marine parks was always my fav thing to do in these kinda games :D Though it's probably gonna be a little while until the first habitats are done because the entrance I got in mind is already gonna be very time consuming to make, but nothing new there lol

Anyway, here's what I got so far ^^

Let's go up with Day 5

On the 5th day I closed the gap next to or behind the lemur house with an enclosure for tortoises and beautified the free spaces between the paths with plants and fences.

Admittedly, I made a cut here because I didn't have that much time. But that would have been too little content for a post, that's why I pack 2 days together.

Next, behind the crocodile enclosure, I built an enclosure for malayan tapirs and a second one for black bucks.

The black bucks have already left the zoo, the mods have given me a few problems, so I decided to part with them first.

I don't yet know which animals move into the swan pond, bongos will move into the black buck enclosure.
Maybe you have an idea for the pond.

Aaaaand...

Gharials or flamingos?

Working on expanding my new Franchise that I started....last week I think? Clouded Leopards are next (in the empty habitat to the right where the hills are. I think I'm addicted to the circular habitat now though. Also please ignore the mess that's at the bottom, I'm working on how to incorporate it for the African Elephants so it'll be an ongoing project.

Day 6

Yesterday I saw an episode of the Bronx Zoo on TV. (I think it's pretty cool that German television translates the episodes!)
In it they showed a merging of 4 female Japan macaques with a new male. I thought "Damn it, I've never had Japan macaques in one of my zoos"
Thought, considered concept and implement in my zoo.

I have to admit (self-praise stinks), but I think this enclosure is my most successful one. I think it's really great xD

I spent the rest of the day sorting out the animals.
Suddenly a lot of news came up, the flamingos complained ... no wonder there were 57 flamingos in the 1000 square meter enclosure. Fascinating that from 3 couples, so many animals have emerged, I always thought they die pretty quickly, so I thought I didn't have to worry about them. Thought wrong. How that sounds ... like a factory farmer. So I packed everyone in the trade center, kept 4 young adults and the little ones.

The llamas and ring-tailed lemurs will soon also bless the temporal, I will let them get their bread of grace and have already put together a new group.

In the former Swan Lake, I will probably put capuchin monkeys. I think the lake is good for building some tree houses and climbing opportunities.

Thanks btw. for the gavial idea (I already have flamingos), I'll definitely add them to another place :)

And last but not least

Just my first attempt in sandbox but first couple of habitats are doing okay. The underwater stuff is cool. Already got babies in both.

The Macaque Enclosure is really awesome. I like what you did there with the Water, the Rocks and the special Effects

Im back home after my holidays and did some work, as you can see. You guys might remember my planning of the asian area and i noticed three things:
1. I cant keep on track with my tasks
2. I wanted to include the pangolin
3. The tiger habitat next to it looks like trash and needs to be redone

But here we go with my little pangolin habitat! I really like it and its a good baby step towards completion of my zoo

Continuing to experiment with biomes the game does not offer (sorta, two of them are in game)

I've done the Galapagos Islands (through Houston Zoo's eyes), the Pacific Northwest temperate rainforests, the Sonoran desert and the above one I just did, which is the jungle-scrubland of India. Inspired by places such as Gir National Park and The Jungle Book
