Oh I see, I thought it was attached to the wall of the building! My idea may not work in that case, but worth a try.I’ll try that. The sign background is very big and is sunken into the ground which is why I have the rocks.

Here you go ^^
Yes it was against the wall.Oh I see, I thought it was attached to the wall of the building! My idea may not work in that case, but worth a try.
A neat idea, though I definitely see some issues, which are probably the ones you're facing now since you have economy on.Inspired by @Gorobai I started a new zoo, in which the animals are decided by a randomiser wheel. So far, so good. However, I also decided to play with economy on (like money and CC) and THAT decision I already doubt, I can tell you that much. Drives me nuts to not build "beautiful" right from the start, ugh. It's sandbox, so I'm considering switching money etc. off again (plus water cleaning and electricity, because I hate those).
The randomiser wheel for the animals is kinda nice though. Reliefs the pressure of building sections etc.
My first two animals are the Birdeater (I know, the irony...) and the Wild Water Buffalo. So not a problem at all. But I still don't have enough money to build a "beautiful" habitat and those plain ones.. hnnnng. I know it all just takes a little patience and I can always rebuild once I have more money, but patience isn't exactly my middle name when I want something. Especially not in a game. Which is why I normally always play with economy off.A neat idea, though I definitely see some issues, which are probably the ones you're facing now since you have economy on.
First wheel spin: African Elephant!; reaction: Sigh, they'll be expensive but maybe a way to draw in a big crowd from the get go, puts elephants in
Second wheel spin: West African Lion!:: reaction: ugh! Why do you do this to me? This is a new zoo! Begrudgingly puts lions in.
Third wheel spin: Polar Bear!; reaction: just shuts the game down without saving.
ETA: I guess you could have 3 wheels. One for low cost, medium cost, and high cost animals. You at least get to choose a general range. Maybe you spin then once each in a cycle.
I can see that issue for sure. I don't like to rebuild completely either, but oftentimes I'll do the minimum to make the animal happy with plans to go back and update...but then I move on to another animal...and do the same...and another animal....and another zoo....I'm sure close to 90% of the habitats across all my games probably are on the "needs to improve this habitat" status. My first two animals are the Birdeater (I know, the irony...) and the Wild Water Buffalo. I wanted to challenge myself, but maybe I just bit off more than I can chew and "not being able to plan any animals" is challenge enough for me.
See, and that's what I wouldn't want neccessarly. Because when I were at that situation before, even without the economy, I just got overwhelemed by "so many things that need to get fixed / imrpoved" that I started anew.I can see that issue for sure.
