What did you do in Planet Zoo today?

I'm currently building a franchise zoo in India so that I can use a bunch of Indian animals that I usually don't end up using (looking at you, red dogs). No pics just yet.
I won't be able to get back on again until later this afternoon, but it'll be a good way for me to relax my sore throat (I'm thinking, and hoping, that it's allergies or maybe a mild cold, because I don't have any symptoms of anything worse, but I'm still the overly anxious guy and believe it to be Rocky Mountain spotted fever🙄)

Getting back into the game in anticipation for the next DLC, I've finally finished an old entrance I started on earlier this summer and have added the first actual habitat to the zoo for Alpine Ibex. I designed it so you can technically see the ibex on their mountain if they are climbing before you properly enter the zoo:

Unfortunately they can't seem to climb the large fake mountain I made at the back (can't put another enrichment mountain so close), does anyone have any idea how I could make it climbamble?

Here is a shot from just outside the zoo ticket booth.

Finally, the rather simple indoors with a terrarium for Fire Salamanders.

Any feedback is greatly appreciated :D

First of, love the custom fencing, thats the spirit!
I actually really like the hill on the side and for the one on the back, while im not sure kf goats have better traversable area then ptjer animals, angling the rocks so that you have a series if flat surfaces should create a way for the ibex to partly climb the mountain

Both the ibex and dall sheep seem to suffer the same issues regarding traverse area on rocks. It's more of the hitboxes on the rocks themselves when applied in a natural rocky pile, in my experience angling the rocks at about 45 degrees works to allow them to climb custom made mountains.

This is my main entrance habitat for grey seals, I think the pine trees in the back are a nice touch.

And there is also underwater viewing:

Generally I'm quite happy with it but it still needs some touching up, any feedback is appreciated.
The plain rock is a little boring in the front, in the back it works because of the extra structure and the trees in the background, but for the fencing part in front it could really use something like a metall railing, planters with a bit of green, a centerpiece statue or something similar

Not bad. I personally would add some plants around, mostly on the beach. A bush here, a bush there
Good idea, I'll do that.

Good point, I'll try to do something that doesn't obstruct the view too much,

Didn't do too much today, but I still popped into Stringybark Zoo to do some brainstorming as to how I could integrate the new Australian species. Of course, for one feisty little fella I already have an enclosure pre-made, although I'll probably make some changes to the interior. Pretty stoked to finally erect this new sign announcing the arrival of devils to Stringybark's southeast Australia section!

For the little penguins, I've already started on a little southern coastlines area with the habitat for Australian sea lions I built right after I started bring mods into this zoo, branching off from the southeast Australia section, so they'd be a natural fit. It would also be fun doing the area up with some of the cool new wood pieces we'll be getting with the Polynesian scenery set, which fit the vibe quite well.

I think this coastal area will also be the most appropriate place to squeeze in a little pen for the quokkas - I was originally thinking of mixing them with the koalas, but given they aren't from south-eastern Australia I felt like they'd clash with the established theming of the section. Meanwhile, they occur in many coastal habitats in their little corner of south-western Australia, which is also inhabited by the penguins and sea lions, so they fit here much better.

As for the flying fox, the Jungle Zone of the zoo is already complete of course and there would be no way to squeeze them in there, so I'm thinking I'll actually include a nocturnal area to the reptile house I was planning on building after Drylands and include the bats in there.
