Honestly, I wish I would post here more, but private life and work is a bit rocky at the moment and I hardly find myself in the headspace to relax and be creative. But it's always nice to lose myself into the zoos shown here and escape reality for a moment.

It's that time of the year again when activity on the forum is low and I spam you with my zoos. This time I present the Formosan black bears from Bear Lake Park:

After a month of not playing I finally went back to my almost finished park and started a habitat for red pandas. Not finished yet, but getting there!

I'm really am hoping I can play some this long weekend and more next month than I did this month. Work stress and schedule, back pain, I barely zooed at all. I've pretty much lived vicariously through you all this month.

I actually build a Dhole habitat today and opened Murmeldorf, even though there is still one habitat to build. I also turned on breeding. I completely forgot how much of a stress a zoo with around 24 species and breeding on could be. Sheesh.

European fallow deer have joined the zoo and they live in a forested area:

On the other hand, my bison herd has grown and their habitat was a bit small, so they will move to the upper part of the zoo and now the former habitat houses Arctic foxes (so the foxes have a big habitat):

Actually, this habitat would be perfect for wolverines if we had them.

Because I just can't finish a thing before starting the next one, I started the large African savannah area in Biopark. It took me quite a while to find out a layout on where the stables are located that satisfies me. Right now it's just a very basic outline of the stables and first design of the large indoor hall which will consist of the indoor enclosures of the rhinos and giraffes. As you can see fennec foxes and aardvarks will get habitats in the building, too. In addition I'll add some exhibits (maybe also some implied ones) and toilets.
Now I have to design everything the way I want to but it will probably took me literally years because it's such a gigantic area already haha

P.S. I really have to finish all the habitats that I started, in my zoo there are just too many unfinished areas.

Not sure why but my main zoo keeps crashing. So I started a new project. I really like the otters but I wish they would stick together a bit more like you often see in real life.

Today I finished the area where the bisons have been relocated. There are some exhibits around the area too. Now bisons share a much large habitat with pronghorns and guests can relax at the Pronghorn Eatery:

In addition, since this is the highest part of the park, there's an amazing viewing point over the whole park and right above the main entrance to the zoo:

Today I've been adding to the Monterey complex with a Science Center and penguin habitat -still very brutalist and with blue concrete for a change . . .

I tried to do something different and get out of my comfort zone, so I did a funicular or cable car for the people who don't want to walk to the upper zone of the zoo. It's quite simplified, because I'm not a great builder and with my laptop I can't get too crazy.

Now the upper viewing platform for polar bears is easier to reach:
