What did you do in Planet Zoo today?

I recently started work on Frusen Kant (translated to "Frozen Edge" from Swedish), a zoo focusing on taiga and tundra animals. Here are a few highlights so far.

The Alpine Ibex habitat. Placing all those ferns was a pain, but I think it was worth it. Thank goodness for the copy and paste tool.

For the Formosan Black Bear habitat, I wanted to make the foliage look nice, so I watched one of PaulsLey's videos where he said to mix multiple species of plants together. I think it turned out really well because of that. Ignore the terrible viewing area in the back though lol. I'll probably redo that at some point.

Using inspiration from my first ever sandbox zoo, I made a natural looking climbing frame for the Red Panda habitat. I'll likely put it on the Steam workshop in the near future. Also, the Red Pandas might just hold the claim to being the cutest animal in the game. They're adorable!

Actually, minor request: does anybody have any footage of a thylacine in-game? I looked on YouTube, but there's isn't much footage. Basically, I want a video of the thylacine walking around, as if it were like a documentary of sorts: no UI, no man-made objects (except for maybe chain link fencing).

What I wanna do is make a "documentary" of the Taz tiger using a model that matches the game (it's like a weird pet peeve; I don't like to use pics of real animals in the game. They have to be in-game animals or clipart)

I turned one of the small natural lakes into a sea lion habitat. Like for the seals, there's no underwater viewing area beacuse the habitat is just places around a natural area.

It's getting difficult to take good screenshots on this park beacuse of all of the trees and the shadows of the mountain on this area. Also I'm running out of space, so this zoo will probably be finished before the new DLC drops in.

Today I build a habitat for my bengal tigers. It's bigger and the have more water to swim in, plus the guests get an exclusive look inside the sleeping area and can get up close to the big cats!
And yes, it looks almost the same as the leopard habitat from above. I wanted to see if I can replicate the look so it's more aligned with the rest of that area.

Who doesn't want a colourful interior in a greenhouse - I love colour - I would love to eat lunch in this restaurant - think I'm designing Willy Wonkers greenhouse.

I love plants and work with them everyday and really looking forward to this new DLC and planty goodness and sustainability aspect coming to the game - very excited.

More enjoyable the sea lion, but as an entrance animal that would be kind of... surprising, because of their attraction I would think.
Funnily enough, it used to be quite common to have 'big ticket' animals at zoo entrances. I can't remember what zoo it was but there was one that in its early days kept its elephants right at the entrance, and I believe one of the zoos in New York has sea lions at the entrance (or used to).

Berlin Zoo still has elephants and rhinos (currently in another area of the zoo though because of the construction of a new rhino house) just right at the main entrance. And the other entrance has lions and giant pandas not far away from it.
It's rare but there are still a few zoos having big ticket animals at the the main entrance, mostly smaller (in terms of size not species), crowded city zoos I think.

Nice, reminds me of the Thylacine Cinema I did once. It uses Real Life Footage though

Inside . . . Have been playing around with colour - and being a public greenhouse - the gardeners have put in beautiful blooms and plants to show off their colour and form - the restaurant patrons are surrounded by colour and lush vegetation.
