Feudal in active Lockdown: "A system-wide lockdown is currently in place. There have been some high-profile executions to send a clear message."
Feudal in active Outbreak: "Another outbreak of disease has been reported."

Patronage in active Investment: "We couldn't expand, so we will pour investment into our local society instead."
Patronage in active Outbreak: "The system is currently in the grip of a merciless pandemic."

Someone re-checking a different dictatorship in investment, or finding a feudal in investment could clear up the odd message I found.

EDIT: Also found Corporate in pending Retreat: "With one of our expansions failing, we are having to retreat."

Prison Colony in active Outbreak: "An epidemic is ravaging the system, as you've probably heard. Medicines are urgently needed."
Prison Colony in active Retreat: "We had hoped to expand our operations, but that attempt failed and so we are in retreat."

Theocracy in active Election: "We are competing in an election at the moment."
Theocracy in active Famine: "Food is scarce in our system at present, and so we have an opportunity for fasting and self-reflection." the glass is certainly half-full here!
Theocracy in active Outbreak: "It is true that the system is experiencing an outbreak of disease, but suffering is good for the soul." Now the glass is full.
Theocracy in active War: "Our security forces are currently fighting the evil that is [FACTION]."

"Some have rebelled against the dictates of the sanctum, and so we're experiencing widespread unrest."

Pending Civil War in Feudal: "A civil war is near certainty."

The rare, rare Feudal in active Investment turned up in H Puppis! Order of the Imperial Knights had this to say to me: "There wasn't a system for us to expand into, so we're increasing our investment in local services for time being."
