Just a selection of decently fonts that could work. But honestly, I'd expect any fonts used to match those currently used in game with variations for the different ship manufacturers and corporations.

I like the space dock stencil myself.
The news about ship names has me thinking of all sorts of 'no stand' labels, 'keep clear of engines', kills, Enola Gay type (pin up) decorations and (silly) 'how's my driving' stickers.
I don't know if there's any kind of plan to issue ships with reg numbers (which I would like, so maybe a ship name defaults as an alphanumeric ID .. then you can add a name, if you like) and of course we don't know how it will work exactly yet but I definitely go for this feature, very evocative.

Just please Frontier I love yo faces don't repeat it in 4 different places in the same UI because apparently we are all stupid and a single instance of one metric in a previously defined location is just too complicated to cope with.
Honestly I am okay with the station UI font. At least it would be consistent.

Well as long as the plates are placed so that ship kits don't cover half the name up. I was disappointed with my Vulture kit when certain parts covered half the wing decals up and rendered the parts or decals, your choice, unusable!
Would be awesome if our ships' names were displayed on the exterior, but I'm not optimistic.

Harsh as it may sound, I don't really care about any "Meaningless Tosh" written down the side of a ship? Infact the idea of seeing lots of screenshots with juvenile nonsense (eg: "Galactic Justice") down the side of a pretend space ship makes me grimace.
Surely there's far more productive uses for this development time?
