What other games are we all playing?

PL2 and Titanfall
i land my ship in ED then swap to one or the other
and play on a planet then go back to ED and take off again LOL

I've pre-ordered Quantum Break which comes out in a few days.
Thing is, I don't have an Xbox One.
What MS have said is that anyone who pre-ordered Quantum Break before launch will get a code for the Win10 version.
I used the Xbox app in Win 10 to create a gamer tag and bought the game that way. MS are using QB as a test for cross-play between XB1 and PC and I want to see what Remedy have done with the time warping effects.

I play a lot of other games, IL-2, DCS, Arma, DayZ, the witcher, Adr1ft, Alien and so on. Waiting for Mafia III and that XCOM 2 becomes more stable.

Just started playing Ori and the Blind Forest. Incredible opening and absolutely gorgeous design!
The trial and error everywhere can be very frustrating, but honestly it only adds a sense of fragility to the main character. I love it!

I went back to Dark Souls and played tons of DS1 on new game +. And now I was struggle with DS3 and then dumped it. Looks like I`m back to relaxing Fishing Planet and DCS.

I had to go cold turkey on ED for a while to make time to learn how to play Naval Action. Those guys do fricken server maintenance at 9PM my time, so I have to switch to Spintires for a couple hours in the middle of that. (Spintires graphics have really improved) Fragmentation cannons...er, I mean carronades with grape shot For The Win!

After playing ED solidly for 4 months, with little else, I've been taking a bit of a break, and splitting my game time between IL-2:Battle of Moscow (now in beta, but more or less ready for release) and ETS2 with the latest Promods map. I'll probably get around to playing Besiege some more too, and should probably give Spintires another go - I bought it some time ago, but have only put in a few hours. Other than that, there is always my disparate DCS aircraft collection, or Rise of Flight for when I'm in the mood for something different aviation wise. Speaking of which, I should probably post this here, as a response to all the video's showing fancy ways to go through the slot in Elite Dangerous - this is how you dock a Brandenburg W12. ;)

Civilization V & Beyond Earth , Kerbal Space Program, tES IV : Oblivion.

I'm generally bored so I'm playing what ever mood hits.

Playing Elite but to come back, as in giving all my attention to it, will probably require some new mechanic with content. Maybe a War breaks out with Thargoids, 3rd Alien spicies and we would be in an actual war to hold the ground, or lose a system(s) as humanity. Or push them back colonize the system so supply line is shorter, and fight to keep the system safe while keep pushing. etc. etc. There are just boring old Humanity right now.

I don't know. There is kinda no point at current game. Since Cr. 's we are using almost = millions of $ , we can just retire and live like Kings even if you only have the basic sidewinder, that is roughly 30,000 Cr. = 30,000,000,000 $ ..... So yes I don't see the point of being a pilot.

Currently I want to convert one of the Class 4 Slots in my Anaconda as my personal quarters. And then hire some Imperial Interns(Slaves) to fly my ship and do trading. Heck they can take 1/10th the profits towards paying their debt :p They'll be free after paying their dept. Once a week I'll just go grab a new Intern since they'll probably have no problem paying their dept flying an Anaconda.... (This won't bring me back btw :p But still a possible game mechanic to add)

TL : DR Need a reason to play the game.

Elite mainly, most games old and new have fallen by the wayside.

But while waiting for some mechanics and story progression (aka 2.1), I decided to dust off Arma 3. Multiplayer because I've found servers running imported Arma 2 game modes, Domination and Insurgency.

These are two of the best deep multiplayer games I can remember. It takes a team of teams to make progress. When it works, it's spectacular.

I know it's a tenuous analogy, but I'd like Elite to take a leaf out of the Arma series - ie something to get your teeth into, in multiplayer combat. Not just a mindless arena blast. Both have a great framework - vast gameworlds mean there's no repetitive levels. But where's the real teamwork? That's the most satisfying thing, and it's largely missing from Elite. One or two wings finding some pirate spawns does not make a real team-game.

Why no classic assault / defend / escort missions with wings of fighters / assault / boarding ships / bombers / capital ships fulfulling their respective roles? I hope that the instancing and player limits can be overcome to deliver the gameplay. Intrigued by the recent announcement to add navy campaigns etc :)

Here are some games that I´ve tried lately:

Black Desert Online
Skullgirls 2nd Encore
Thea: The Awakening
Divinity: Original Sin Director´s Cut
Cities: Skylines (great city builder game)
Also picked up some more DLCs for Alien: Isolation (4.26 was the Alien Day), so there is that too.

And I´m waiting for Witcher 3: Blood and Wine and 5th and last episode of Dreamfall: Chapters to be released as well. I haven´t even taken look at the Unreal Tournament (2016) alpha nor Darkest Dungeon yet. So many good games and not enough hours to play them all...

I'm a huge fan of WW1 aircraft and its pilots (my heroes mainly being:- Mannock, McCudden, Ball, Voss, Immelmann, Boelcke, etc)
Rise of Flight appeals to me greatly, however I've always held off on buying it because of their marketing, so many DLC's and add on packs.. I really dislike that kind of thing, I'd rather pay one price and get it all.

Sadly WW1 sims seem to be almost non-existant these days.

The days when it was possible to fund any sort of air combat sim with a large aircraft set from the beginning are long gone - there simply isn't the market for them, and making any attempt at historical accuracy pushes development costs through the roof. Accordingly, the only way to fund such games is by adding new content and selling it as you go. You do get a discount if you buy RoF aircraft in bulk though, and there are three free planes to start off with, so trying it out first costs nothing.

EDIT: So I'm bored of E:D after playing less hours of it then almost any other game I've bought in the last two years. I find myself going back to older games and reliving the excitements.

So what are ya'll playing to hold you over? What are you waiting for that will bring you back to E:D?

Me: Coh2, Sim city 5, a little bf4 and some Heroes and Generals

Are you going to create list?
