not bad for the price it goes for.True.
I went for a reference RX 480 - it trundles along merrily at around 60FPS (dropping to 50-ish in complex scenes) at 2560x1440 Ultra settings.

lol I just got a Geforce GTX 960 with 4GB. I wish I could have afforded the 980, but it was still a huge upgraded from a failing GTX 580.At least I'm not the only one with a retro-feeling when playing E![]()
Got an ATI HD 5650 with 1GB.
Only people who've never played Space Engineers call this game badly-optimised. That game can bring a 1080 to its knees.gtx980ti running e:d w/o issues. the game's poor optimization is appalling but more than offset by sheer artistic genius. however, if this is what it takes to render desert monotonic planet surfaces, i wonder how it will pan out with planets full of life, even if it's alien life.
Given the naming conventions employed by Nvidia, I'd never describe a 1080 as "mid-range." The 1070 would be the top-end of such a classification, in my book.
Sorry I meant mid-range chip with - Titan's & 1080Ti's being GP102
1080 & 1070 being GP104
1060 being GP106
Just the same as the 900 series with - Titan & 980ti being GM200
980 & 970 being GM204
960 being GM206
1080 is certainly a high-end card. Guess they call the top chip's 'Enthusiast' now.
