What GPU do you have in your PC?

Hi Commanders,

It would be interesting to know what GPU you have in your PC. This information could be useful when we discuss the Graphics
and where we as a community are regarding hardware.

So if we start to check the result as of now, there are some interesting numbers.

We know that 1.4 million copies was sold last year, we do not know how many actual players we have, however lets estimate.

Some, own more than one copy, so if there are 1.000.000 people who own the game we can try to see where they are according to the GPU chart.

I will use a low confidence level (95%) and set the margin of error to 5 %, we have a total of 453 people who has informed about what their GPU model is.

The top card owned by ED players are:

1.GTX 970
2.GTX 980 TI
3.GTX 980
4.GTX 960
5.GTX 760

The mid range GPU's is estimated to be around 62%
The High end cards is estimated to be around 30%
The low range GPU card are estimated to be around 8%

This is very interesting, because it actually shows that 92% of the players do have hardware that can handle complex graphics in the game. All the upper mid range card owners, report that their FPS are in the +30 range in average.

r9 280x 3gb
overclocked to 1180
mem overclocked to 1600

runs ED 60 fps in stations
45-75 on planet surface
SC 70-95(at last thanks amd)
general flight 75-100 fps

R7 370 4GB

Not sure what FPS I get (never felt a need to measure it since on high GFX settings it runs perfectly)

Ok, I will make a poll that would be easier to look at :)

EDIT: can't make a poll :( by editing my post, can we call a mod to help out?

AMD R9 370x. I play E:D with FSAA off, but in 4240x1024 resolution across 3 panels :) Horizons slows down a bit but space flight is fine.

2 x MSI GTX 980Ti cards in SLI

With every setting maxed out and on 16x AA and AF, I get a rock solid 75+fps.

R9 280X running across 3 monitors in 5760x1080. I have turned down the planet details a bit, so it gives me decent fps.

When the next generation GPU's comes out i'm getting one of those, so I can run everything in ultra with smooth fps :)
