What GPU do you have in your PC?

AMD HD 6950 (shaders unlocked to same as HD 6970)
Ultra settings except shadows=high. MLAA x2. 40-60fps, depending on other players in instance or if in a station.

We definitely need a poll, otherwise it will take OP ages to collate the data!

..obviously all the usual GPU suspects turned up..but the number of players (mode average in particular) using each type is the relevant stat here, no?
Maybe have to slim the data down a little, by grouping the cards into performance categories - enthusiast/high etc and correspondingly, AMD & NVidia. This discrete data can be turned into a frequency table to analyse the distribution..I'm boring myself now!

Zotac GTX 960 4gb, atm..I'm currently engaged in diplomacy to reacquire my original Zotac GTX 970 Amp Omega, from my brother - which I kindly swapped with him, when ED was a piece of cake to run ultra settings at 60fps - then the 'H' bomb dropped!!..altho' I'm getting 30-40fps on planets (not too bad!), the lil 'basket' is still giving the 970 back!! He can play Witcher3 & FO4 at 1080 for a change!!
:D

Yes, I will make a new post as I can't add a poll to this one, or maybe a moderator can help adding one to this post already?

Anyway I will data mine this, and as I said make a Graphic representation.

980M runs main game at 60 fps max sliders (occasional drops to 40 fps), planets at around 30fps with frequent drops to 15fps.

Want VR but will wait for Pascal before buying an upgrade. VR needs vast amounts of horsepower more than anything we have now, if it needs 75 - 90 Hz and has 25% more pixels on top.

I'm running a gtx980m 8gb with an i7 4790K, 1 monitor (for now) at dsr 3k max settings except super sampling is at 1.0
frames everywhere except planets are solid 60fps, I go as low as 35-45 on planets, However I never get stutters or anything of the sort.
I hope this years laptop GPU's fit my z97.

one pc has a amd 6750 (this is just for movies and such.)
the server pc "2x 4 core xeons" has a hd 7850 (this can game but is just used for running game servers)
and my gaming pc has a gtx 780 overclocked to the same performance as a stock 970.

thought id mention the other gpu's although only the server and gaming pc can run elite.

I have never seen anything below 30fps. on my 980m. that's really weird.

GTX 570 1 Gb
in space I have 60 fps ... but on the surface planet (ship / srv) drop to 17-20
I'm planning to upgreade to GTX 970 gaming 4 Gb asap

MSI R9 280 gaming twin fozr oc 3gb, i use it on oc at 1000mhz for ED, pretty good fps, even 40-50 on planets. Nice and silent, temps with ED only 53-58c usually, with fan speed at 40%.

Hi

Got an NVidia GTX760 with 4Gb GDDR5 Memory. (32Gb system Memory)
All ED graphics/video settings at Ultra.
Res 1920 x 1080
Gamma at max; as looking very nice on my Asus VG278HR 144Hz 28" monitors for some reason!
But Anti-aliasing set at FXAA (SMAA not working? slows Frame rate right down).
Super sampling at 1.0 (higher settings seemed to achieve little).
Getting 70-80 FPS in stations.
90-100 FPS in FSD/Supercruise
80-115 FPS in heavy combat/ number of ships present (presence of other players seem to slow frame rate down some)
70-120 FPS on planets
.
I know some say FPS over 60 FPS is a waste but I like offering my monitor a rate no higher than it can refresh at, and that max's out at 144 Hz (or am I wrong in my thinking here?)

I see that Nvidia is the queen here. I have a GTX 750. Works pretty well at high settings (about 45 fps everywhere with some drop at 30 in stations and planet surfaces) but my actual Intel Core2 Q8300 quad @2.50 Hz CPU is a bit a bottleneck.
I'm going to progressively upgrade my rig this year to welcome the Oculus Rift. First thing I'll upgrade is motherboard and CPU. Cant buy a 1500€ rig in oneshot or I'll have to eat bread and water for 3 months...

AMD Radeon HD 7870 here - 2Gb memory

Does alright but will be upgrading once the current recommended VR spec level cards come down in price.

I usually keep up with VSync in space, asteroid belts etc. @ 1920x1200 but sometimes dropping in busy stations to around 45-50 FPS. Planet surfaces are around 30-45 and I have bumped down the detail a little.

Holding out for a while to re-discover the beauty of ED again as I did in the Alpha :D

980Ti for my main PC, superb framerates at 2560x1080 and beyond with 1300MHz core.

970 for my lan PC. No frame drops at 1080p at 1500MHz core.
