What GPU do you have in your PC?

GTX 970, 100-200 fps in space on ultrawide fullhd ( 2560x1080 ) and 45-80 ( 60 fps 95% of the time) on planets. all settings at ultra.

GTX 960 4GB OC

If (and only if) you're playing at 1920x1080.

A single GTX 970 chokes on ultra at 5760x1080. I know; I run one. It does well at everything up to 2560x1440. Anything higher will make it cry.

Maybe you have overlooked that I was talking about the 4GB overclocked version of the GTX 960. It has no problem going to 2560x1440 with 60FPS in Horizons. Based on your experience it maybe a better buy compared to a entry-level 970 (but I don't know which 970 you have this limitation you described and if the system you are using is contributing to the mediocre performance. I would have thought the 970 beats a 960 in any case).

I have a 2GB GDDR5 GeForceGTX 960. Got it recently, works beautifully.
Previously I'd run a 560, but that's in my father's computer as his 560 kinda... caught fire.

(sorry, have to be smuck for a moment)

i just bought double hybrid cooler for my SLI Titan X :D super happy and cant wait to get 50c while 100% gpu usage :D

Sooooo... Had to pull the trigger on a 42" 4K TV/Monitor for $289 (?!?!?) Crazy deal.

Found out my 970 wouldn't really run high/ultra like I like in 4K, so spent another $629 on a 980 Ti - yeah, probably didn't think that one through too well

Lol, my AMD HD 7970 GHz is five years old and still on fifth place from the top on that chart... and here I was wondering why I get that high FPS all the time.
